Has Sakura been neglected too much?

Ever since her battle with Sasori has not really had many epic moments and a lot of not so epic moment. Then all of the sudden she's pulling all these new power ups from nowhere and some of it doesn't make much sense to me.

Eg. With that seal on her forehead she said that she's been storing chakra for three years which would've been near the start of her training but how could she learn such an advanced techniques at the start? For me it would've made more sense for her to learn how to store the chakra after some time into her training instead of right at the start.

I wished we could've been at least hinted with her new abilities because as far as I know we haven't. If Kishimoto did that I'd probably like Sakura more than I do now.

I believe that Kishimoto is a lot like me with some of my homework, where I procrastinate like crazy and then make some stuff up at the last minute without any planing ahead and thinking things through.

Tell me what you think of Sakura's new developments and if you agree with me or not.

personally i thought that sakura's character development was not bothered with for a while but i can understand that bcoz the plot didnt make it possible all the focus was on naruto, sasuke and others

but saying wat i have said above it would have been nice to atleast point out to us or give us hints hiden in more hints to atleast satisy us

but then an argument can be made that this forshadowed for long as sakura was always teased about her forehead and then she becoming the deciple of tsunade meant that she was bound to get that jutsu , so i was not surprised that she got it but rather agitated about the sudden way kishi made it a reality

Personally I was a little disappointed. She was already an expert medic as well as a strong puncher. I was really hoping to see something totally new from her. Her new seal is just an addition to skills she already had. I like the fact that she can summon Katsuyu, but Katsuyu isn't really a battle summon like Naruto's and Sasuke's. Sakura isn't even fighting she's just watching like everyone else. I wanted to see her development as a fighter.

It would've made more sense to me to give her genjutsu in addition to what she has now. She was originally a genjutsu type and it seems pointless to reveal that info if she goes the entire manga without ever performing a genjutsu you know? I think genjutsu would've been a great power-up without being overkill. But oh well. Kishi said he wasn't good with female characters.

They aren't really new power- ups. Sakura stated she was preparing ths technique for three years.

Nope. She is storing chakra in her seal for 3 YEARS. She should have at least Bijuu level chakra reseves now.

All she got was a seal and slug summon. Calm your shit.

The seal makes sense to have been being worked on from the early days of her training, it never said the beginning. Her chakra control hype and her FOREHEAD jokes were foreshadowing to me because from that i knew she would master the seal.

Slug summon is NOT a power up it didn't even require her to use any chakra aside from her base. Sasuke got his hawk summon off panel NOONE *****ed about it.

It won't after Tsunade fought orochimaru in part 1 the seal reformed instantly like a few mins after he escaped. Do you think he showing up on her forehead again meant it was at full capacity to be used again right there? NOPE.

The 3 years to me is just the start up afterall it is a sealing technique you are trying to master. Now she has it down everything should be faster.

Able to run a hospital
She was able to increase weapons her with poison
She was to do autopsies
All of these were feats were outside of the sasori fight
