With regards to jutsu yes Naruto has surpassed Minato. But with regards to strategizing in a fight, Minato is still ways above Naruto. Of course Naruto has always had the tenacious nature not to ever give up, but he is still learning how to strategize effectively & he is getting better.

In terms of speed, it depends. We haven't seen the full extent of Naruto's speed. If what we have seen is teleportation, then yes, naruto surpassed him in that department, if not, then Minato takes him in speed. Intelligence is tough, Minato is a genious but Naruto has become very smart himself. Strategy wise, I think Minato is smarter. Minato was the Creator of Rasengan and FTG, Genius was in his very Soul, Sasuke may have molded the Chidori he learned from Kakashi into a few different versions but thats all, anything else that comes is thanks to his clan's abilities.

as far as we know, Minato was not gifted with kekkeigenkai, so he neither had sasukes EMS nor Narutos Kyuubi

imagine Minato with EMS or Kyuubi in him guys, or even Sage Mode

Naruto is definetly far from surpassing his father, power doesnt mean everything, he's still amature in my eyes sasuke is worse, sakura is just in the way

I'm not saying who wins, because I really don't care, but the thing to keep in mind is that Naruto is the powerhouse in this match up. Basically Minato will have to come up with a pretty good plan to beat him.

I am a great big Naruto fanboy myself, but do you really think this is true? Does Naruto really dwarf Minato's Thunder God abilities paired with his strong intellect and Fuuinjutsu?

well not in intellect or fuuinjutsu, considering naruto has little to none of each, but naruto in KCM is much, much faster than base minato, and in short distances, he could be moving at the same speed as Minato's FTG

BM Naruto > Minato. but BM only lasts 8 minutes. With FTG and his superior cunning, Minato can easily survive 8 minutes. Then Minato literally beats base Naruto to a bloody pulp and spanks him like a father does to a disappointing child.

i think naruto speed its kind of over exagerated because there is not proof that madara its the fastest mother fuka eva and naruto cant land a freaking hit on him or obito with all his pwer speed or whatever.

So if we go maybe by how the manga its going or how all the battles has been set, naruto seems to only know how to rush,spam rasengan and kagebushin..

not version that the fan has about him.

naruto will make a mistake as simple as that, 90% of what naruto does in battle its making mistake and getting himself saved.
Its good to have all the power in the world but does naruto knows how to use them?
