Minato was the Creator of Rasengan and FTG, Genius was in his very Soul, Sasuke may have molded the Chidori he learned from Kakashi into a few different versions but thats all, anything else that comes is thanks to his clan's abilities.

as far as we know, Minato was not gifted with kekkeigenkai, so he neither had sasukes EMS nor Narutos Kyuubi

imagine Minato with EMS or Kyuubi in him guys, or even Sage Mode

Their both incredibly strong, and unless Minato's contract seal can disable Naruto's access to Kurama's chakra then Minato would lose. Although Naruto hasn't quite surpassed Minato in every department such as speed and intelligence.

Ok I think Naruto did surpass his father since Im seeing a parts of the manga that comparing Naruto to his parents and showing that he have surpass his parents. So I say yes Naruto did surpass Minato.
