Has Naruto surpassed Shikamaru?

I don't think Naruto's can be called smarter than Shikamaru..yet, or ever. I mean, how was Shikamaru going to sum up a plan dealing with father-son chakra and all that. I think Shikamaru was just devoid of info, he never even spoke to Minato so he doesn't fully know FTG...just my opinion.

shikamaru is a great strategist he only can analyses and get solution from current data he knows. this strategy is only by kurma and naruto because they are only one who knows it

Nah. I think this chapter was more about Naruto's mental growth but he's no where near the strategist Shikamaru is, period.
