[Question] Has Marineford Made Some One Piece Fans Impatient?

Because since then people started screaming for bigger fights, even now, we have the biggest fight so far (bar MF and maybe Ace v BB) p, Luffy and Law v Dofy, and still ... some people forgot that OP is a bit less about pure action than some other Shonens

Hmm not really. I've only heard people complain about FI, not ph and dressrosa, and those complains were justified. It was a weak arc, plus it has the same premise of alabasta and enel. Well dressrosa does too, but it's just much better than FI.

Although I feel that the pacing is a bit slow (maybe due to Oda taking breaks for health reasons, not sure)....but this current arc is pretty good.
I didn't like fishman island arc and punk hazard arc much though. U_U

It's not just MF. It is the people that can't follow the great story and the nice details Oda shows every week. They prefer stupid fights 24/7.

It's mainstream nowadays to want ACTION ACTION all the time, rather than great details and development.

I don't think so... But thing is, in this arc some good fights were skipped, and the story was a dragged out a little at some points. Which made some fans impatient.

But those are expecting every arc to be on the same level as Marineford are plain idiots.

People just forget that OP is focused more on the adventure than the action/fights. Its cool that oda can balance both aspects but its rare that we'll get an action heavy arc like MF but we may have a big mom vs kaido war arc.

IMO those people should just drop the series. That's what usually happens when people hop on the bandwagon/hype train because of the MF arc.

I like the way how OP is now U_U.Marineford arc is great by default(The God arc),we can't expect each & every arc be like that.Ahh!why I am always remembering this when I think about Marineford arc .The moment when I thought Ace got saved by luffy but in the next second frame....it was a shock :nuts:

For everyone who says the pacing is slow. Read five of those slow chapters right after each other and realize how well constructed it is.

It's not slow, it's done careful so that we don't have any bullshit or loose ends at the end of the arc. If you want to see something slow, check out the great ninja war of 2014.

OP isn't about action then why the ****kk is there DFs Haki and all these great fighting styles. I get OP primarily is about adventure but that doesn't mean we shouldn't see real fights in OP at all. The reality of it all is the same people who get butthurt when others would rather see action and get impatient ....wouldn't read OP if it didn't have any fights

The whole point of the ****in story and build up is to create an explosion ...that leads to fights but even Doffy fight is being half assed and not living up to the hype. We been running to Doffy for so long to be getting this shit. These dudes are suppose to be so damn powerful that fpthey should be able to fight on a tiny roof
