[Question] Has anyone read "Cage of Eden" ?

I recently finished it. Started about 3-4 days ago. I think i got addicted and I really wanted to finish it, so I have. I was wondering is anyone else has read the manga.

Yeah I read it. It's really good. But the ending threw me off. I was not expecting that.

It was a great series during the start, and it got even better when they started finding out about the island itself.

The ending felt rushed, similar to what happened to Psyren when it was cancelled. I'd have preferred something less open-ended, but I guess it was alright for what it is. Some readers have suggested reading Yamada's earlier manga series EX - Shounen Hyouryuu, as it's seen as Cage of Eden's spiritual successor in a way.

I thought it was kindof a textbook on prehistoric ecology, with some ecchi thrown in there to keep people interested. But I liked it, too!

Yes, I believe the ending was slightly rushed also. The author never revealed who Hades was, and I was waiting for that :/.

One of my favorites. If it wasn't canceled, we would have gotten a better ending. Hades being a clone of Akira is my guess, but i guess we will never know.
