Well I have an objective opinion. There is a difference betweent recognizing one's quality and nullifying just because it may make you feel somehow. And yet everyone recommends it...
I thought of it as well but the question is: do the anime and manag affect our personality up to a certain degree i th efirst place or is this how we really are and these things only help us to draw these features of our character to the surface?I'm more inclined to go with the guy that said "that's not how personality works." I suppose when I watch Code Geass or Death Note, I find that I have a tendency to be cautious and over-think scenarios. And I always create a contingency when working with people I don't fully trust.
I think I just notice it more, it doesn't actually make me that way. I just become aware of it.
I'm willing to bet that if people felt influenced by anime characters, it was more of just them becoming more aware of how they are in comparison to certain characters.
Perhaps to a certain degree then. Well, I grew up on DBZ anime and Naruto manga. I'm usually confidently optimistic and don't really back down from challenges even if I'm the underdog (in fact, especially), but I exhibited that before I discovered any animeI thought of it as well but the question is: do the anime and manag affect our personality up to a certain degree i th efirst place or is this how we really are and these things only help us to draw these features of our character to the surface?
Υou took the question to extreme levels but okay XDanime change my personality??!!...........hahahahahaha...hilarious thread!
Well my question might refer to extreme changes but I wasn't necessarily meant that, I meant changes in general, either big ones or small ones.Much like any other form of entertainment I've found inspiration in the way certain characters overcame grief and sorrow, or overcame things in their life to go on and do great things. I like a good plot, generally the reason I watch is good story telling, not to try and make myself a certain character. I think people that let a show or book consume their personality and change them for the worse need therapy..That is all.
Explains why you've never had a pet gorilla you loserWatching bakemonogatari had given me a habit of reflexively talking down to ppl at times, but i've always been kind of rude when when I am not paying attention
