Hanzo vs Sannin

The first time they met Hanzo single handily destroyed all 3 of them and had the option to kill them but didnt. Jiraiya, orochimaru and Tsunade were in their youth and no match. Later on they all upgraded with jutsus and such.

i might be wrong but from what we know it was huge battle in which everyone from konoha but sannins died. there is a chance that hanzo did nothing during that battle so he was "fresh" when he faced tired sannins so they might have been able to defeat him even than if they wouldn´t be tirred

Some corrections need to be made.

1) Hanzou didn`t single handedly defeat them... he found out they were too much for him and he told them if they stop fighting he will call them the Sannin.

Otherwise he would kill them then and there.

It flows against logic to not kill your enemy if you are capable. You back out when you realize they are too much.

Because of his jerk personality... he didn`t want to admit defeat.

Hanzo is BA.. But yea the Sannin had improved before death. I would be disappointed if they hadn't learned anything in like 20yrs or more...

ummmmm. really? for one the jonin versions of the sannin were giving hanzou a really good fight, actually looked like they were winning. Honestly, watch this video and you'll see that the sannin looked like they were winning.

During their encounter with Hanzo, they were already Jounin, they've made contract with Gama, Manda and Katsyu, Jiraiya had mastered Sage mode(though not a perfect one), etc. I don't see any reason why they would lose to Hanzo.

Now that Mifune cut down Hanzo easily, i say Kishi is just kicking his arse.

Jiraiya didn't master sage mode(how is mastering not perfect?) He had trouble becoming a sage fighting pein and he was old...imagine how hard it would be when he was 17-23? Im not even sure he could use it then...you do understand how young they were right? Age really has a lot to do with everything and just because you are a jounin doesn't mean you're amazing.​
