Hanzo VS Mifune

Yea couldn't say that better myself. To many fun fan favorite ninjas I would not mind the alliance losing this battle. We got Kim man he is tight, we got Chiyo well I for one loved her outgoing personality still trying to fight with her old age and we got Hanzo! Last but not least some big guy at the end. They need blood shed on the alliance side to piss people off for revenge.

You know Kinkaku and Ginkaku were confident they'll be the victors as was Hidan.

I think Mifune will win I'm just saying confidence =/= skill or strength

Yes i believe so you wouldnt just gte named a general for nothing and he was obviously chosen for the leader of the neutral nations not because he can negotiate but because he is badass

Kishi just knows its time for a main character to die so he's starting off easily putting Mifune up against Hanzo so he can die since he has no large fan base like the other main characters.

yeah, but kin/gin bros were stupid, and hidan is stupid too. on the other hand there is general of 5th division which has ninjas with special abilities that must mean that he must have some special ability too. mifune doesn´t look so stupid as kin/gin bros and hidan.

there is no doubt that hanzo named the sennins... and tsunade is one of them and now the hokage... can mifune be strong enough to overpower a hokage so easily. Even if he does, he will definitely end up with each and every bone of his body shaken up as hell. So how can anyone even hope for mifune to win. I think that until mifune gets an enormous amount of backup, he simply CAN NOT overpower hanzo... I hope he gets a reasonable backup, otherwise he will definitely get himself killed...

do anyone disagree??

Very true there. Mifune wouldn't be a general on the battlefield if he was weak. He'd at least be hanging back at HQ with Raikage and Tsnaude. I want Hanzo to win as much as anyone, but I'm expecting some good stuff out of Mifune. The fight will certainly be intense.

So you mean to say, A and Tsunade can't be a general on the battlefield? :O

As far as tradition goes (actual tradition outside of Naruto) samurai have been known to be stronger than ninja and ninja were the more cunning of types.

Naruto has blown that way out of place with bodybuilding physical users like the Raikage and Killer Bee and several other earth-element, physical types, like the guys who attacked (and almost destroyed Konoha and Xth time) in the filler arc.

I want Mifune to put him in his place with some techniques, hopefully something new and completely separate from ninjutsu.

Well I know the anime & manga don't have everything in common or the movies for that matter but in one of the movies there was one samurai... he was pretty damn good against ninja.

also Samurai are held highly in Japan... I doubt Kishimoto would let Mifune (witch by the way is famous actor that was well know for samurai movies in japan) die being as this is the 1st real ninja vs samurai fight some body as to make a name for the samurai

If Mifune does die i think it won't be Hanzo by him self... Kabuto has no honor so if Hanzo starts losing I think Kabuto will bring in Kimi and Chiyo but never count out the other ninja

All and all its gonna be one damn good fight with my money on Mifune just because Samurai are kick ass

Well some one needs read into the themes of Naruto a bit more... Naruto's never give up way is more of a samurai trait Sasuke swording fighting is the same style the samurai's use in the 5 kage summit. Even in the anime one of the intro's showed Sasuke and Naruto fighting as samurai.

Also look into Japanese history and find out how close Ninja and Samurai really were.

idk about this one mifune might get owned maybe in his day he would be a problem but he's fight a reanimated hanzo who can move like a kid with too much sugar in his system because of the jutsu vs. a old man whose glory days have passed.......
