Ephemeral is a reality simulation Genjutsu as Owarij called it I believe. Itachi is able to copy the whole scenario perfectly, they wouldn't even realize they were initially put into a Genjutsu due to Itachi's cloning the real world to the t. Then they get a sword to the brain.

-They'd either be put under Genjutsu or close their eyes, either one will result in a blitz on Mei as she's his highest priority with full intel.

-Once Mei is dead this is effectively a one on one with Tsunade, which Itachi will have no trouble winning.

Full intel on genjutsu means they aren't getting caught by it and there's Katsuyu to break them out even if they do get caught, so that won't won't be working.

EDIT: Oh I didn't see the Katsuyu restriction. Not that it saves Itachi from getting wrecked here.

Lmaooo, it's more interesting to debate for the character with low chances of winning then to always debate the most obvious like you do. Otherwise VS threads would be pointless since everyone has the same common opinion.

No it's not, because most of the time if they have a low chance of winning, inaccurate arguments will be brought up. Arguments that either downplay the opposition or ignore parts of their abilities or the limitations of the character who is the clear winner. The only thing that'd actually be good to debate is a match that can go either way.

The only thing that'd actually be good to debate is a match that can go either way.

Although I agree to an extent, one way to find out match-ups that can go either way is through differing opinions. People might be under the common opinion that x beats y and vs thread ends at 10 replies everyone saying x wins. Someday scrub1 says y beats x and ends up having a viable argument as to how he beats him, some change opinion to y beats x while others still think x beats y. Noamsaiyan? I've been debating characters that are unlikely to win lately and I have changed some opinions of other's because at times, things can be overlooked and the 'unlikely' may end up being right. I find it pretty interesting since it seems everybody copies the opinions of other member's lately, in specific, your opinions (not that they are always wrong).
