Hanagakure Beginnings
Chapter One: Graduation Day
Peace. . . .what a relative term. Where one sees peace, another sees misery. Peace is a rare thing to find in this world. Only twice during our long history has peace been attained. The first came from the Sage of the Six Paths. He saved our world from the Juubi and through his sacrifice gave birth to a time of peace. But as time went by he was forgotten, his sacrifice gone. Peace gave birth to war. Then again we entered a period of peace, this time thanks to the sacrifice of a man named Naruto. But again, time went by, and the sacrifice was forgotten. You see peace is a very difficult thing to attain, almost impossible. But even when peace is achieved it can only give birth to one thing.
War.
War.

The sun was hidden behind a thin layer of clouds over the Village of the Hidden Flower. Today was a special day for the younger members of the village, it was graduation day at the academy. It was also the 12th birthday of our hero, Ukitane Mizoto.
Mother: "Mizooooootooooooo! Time to wake up Mizo-chan!"
Mizoto: "Mother please, I told you not to call me that anymore. I'm graduating today, I'm no longer a child."
Mother: "Oh Mizo-chan, to me you will always be my little Mizo-chan! Now hurry up and get ready, you don't want to be late."
Mizoto: "I'll be ready in fifteen minutes."
Mizoto put on his usual outfit. He slipped into his red shorts and threw on a baggy black long sleeve shirt. He then tied his Hanagakure headband around his neck. The symbol of Hana was horizontal rose that ran from right to left across the metallic part of the headband. He put bandaging around both of his feet and up to his knees. Mizoto spiked up his deep red hair in order to keep it from blocking his green eyes. He had been looking forward to this day for a long time. His father would be proud.
Mizoto: "Okay mother, I'm ready."
Mother: "Oh my! How handsome you look Mizo-chan!"
Mizoto and his mother made their way to the academy and the ceremony began.

Hanakage: I would like to welcome all the academy students and their family and friends on this great day. The strength of a village is not in its elders, or jonin, or even me. The strength of a village is in its children, in the youth. That is where we get our strength from. It is with my pleasure that today we witness the first graduation class from the Hanagakure Academy of the Ninja Arts! Will all of the students please make their way in a single file line up to the stage now.
The students filed across the stage one at a time. Each student shook the hand of the Hanakage and took a diploma congratulating them of their achievement and then assigning them to a certain sensei. Mizoto anxiously walked across the stage. It was a day he had been waiting for for a long time, but now that it was here he was nervous. He was nervous of what lied ahead for him in his future and what he would be leaving behind in the past. He grabbed the hand of the Hanakage as well as a diploma for himself.
Hanakage: Congratulations Mizo-chan. Me and your mother are extremely proud of you. But understand from now on you will be expected to serve your village. Do not expect any special treatment just because your father is the Hanakage.
Mizoto: I understand father. Thank you.
Mizoto continued off the stage and the ceremony continued without a problem. He waited until he got home until he opened his diploma.
Congratulations Graduate!
Today you begin your new life as a genin of Hanagakure. From here on out you will serve your village in order to protect the lives of you friends and family. Good luck to you all!
Graduate: Ukitane Mizoto
Sensei: Hitomi Senritsu

Sensei: Hitomi Senritsu
Mikoto: Hitomi Senritsu? Mother, who is Hitomi Senritsu?
Mother: Ooooo you got assigned to Hitomi's squad huh? Haha! Lucky you, shes one of the best Jonin this village has. She's going to work your butt off!
Mikoto: Really? That sounds good!

Mikoto made his way to the training ground to meet up with his new squad. He was the first one there aside from Hitomi. Hitomi was a tall and beautiful woman. She had long blue hair and crystal blue eyes that could subdue any man. She wore a purple kimono that struggled to conceal her large chest.
Hitomi: Ah, you must be Mikoto. You look a lot like your father you know?
Mikoto: Yes, I get that a lot Hitomi-Sensei. What are we going to do today?
Hitomi: Well today we will get to know each other. As a squad we will need to work together, attack together, defend together. And in order to do that, we need to know one another and trust one another.
Mikoto: I understand sensei.
Not long after he arrived the other two students arrived as well. The first one was a boy who was about two inches shorter than Mikoto but about twice as thick, especially in the stomach. His face looked as though it was swollen. The top of his head was covered with shaggy black hair.
Mikoto: I recognize you from the academy......your name is Uchichi Kazuma is it not?
Kazuma: Ya it is, and you of course are Mikoto. Daddy's lil' angel right? Hah! Course I get stuck with this guy.
Hitomi: Now now Kazuma settle down. You don't want to make Mikoto angry, it wouldn't be smart.
Kazuma: Ya? And why is that sensei?
Hitomi: Well because we're all going to fight each other today, and if hes angry hes going to go harder of course.
The third member who arrived was a shy girl who went by the name Jasmine. Her past was a mystery, even to the higher ups of the village. She just.....showed up one day.
Kazuma: Hah, aren't I the lucky one? I got the spoiled brat over here, and the freak over there! This team is priceless!
Jasmine: ................
Mizoto: Listen fatty, if you say one more thing I'm going to make you eat dirt!
Hitomi: Yeesh......I got my work cut out for me........okay listen up you three. As I told Mizoto before, today we need to get to know each other. We need to be able to synchronize our movements to be effective. The best way to get to know each other is through combat. By fighting each other you can learn how your teammates move, learn their body language and their fighting style. Now we'll pair off and begin to spar. I'll take Jasmine, Mizoto and Kazuma you two go against each other as well.
The newly formed team paired off. Kazuma was already getting on Mizoto's nerves, it was time for Mizoto to teach Kazuma some manners.
Hitomi: Are you all ready? Begin!
