Haku a girl?

Am i the only one who think naruto messed up by making haku a guy. like i always thought haku was a girl and everytime they referred to him as "him" or "he" it was a mistake, but my brother explained to me that haku is a guy, so i was kinda if thats a guy then im a girl

The fact is he probably took after his mother when it came to appearance. I was shocked when he came out and said "I'm a boy". When he said that and he was talking about the importance of Zabuza to him, I thought he was gay but idk.

He's a male but he bares the characteristics of a female mainly because of his mother. I've heard the term "Beautiful boy" in situations like this. I dropped the gay aspect a while ago, becuase just because he has the androgynous apperance doesn't mean he's gay. Anyway there are those aspects in the manga. All members of Akatsuki ware nailpolish on their hands and feet (I know that guys do whar it but it's more common for girls) and in Sasuke's CS2 form his lips get darker which give it the appearance as if he's waring lipstick. Haku is a guy but he's very feminen in his appearance.

It's the Japanese culture, if you look at some japan cosplay, you'd see plenty dudes going for the literal pretty emo boy look, and their women love it, it's just what they consider attractive, not all guys, but a good bit are the super cool pretty boy type, and some women have that school unform with big socks super cuteness overload, take a look at a ganguro girl, their culture is just different when it comes to what's acceptable and attractive

i think there were 1 or 2 other characters like this... remember the guy in the sack, i think it was in the anime not manga but i think this could be a japanese thing ... they dress guys like girls or make them appear to be... no offence to anyone
