If that was the case, Zoro's flying slash wouldn't have cut Monet, it'd have done blunt damage. If Zoro's slash could keep its cutting properties, there's no reason fire couldn't keep its heat, or ice its cold, or Kizaru's light its piercing and explosive properties.Shows every other person in the manga. WB never used haki quakes on aokiji, aokiji never used haki covered ice, and kizaru never used haki covered lasers for a reason.
