Not really, While hagoromo might of had the gene for the sharingan, it doesn't mean he had the sharingan it's self. It could've easily been overwritten by the more dominant rinnegan gene. As Hagormo's chakra links directly to the rinnegan and it's techniques. His chakra doesn't grant a new sharingan or new sharingan techniques.

indra only had the sharingan because he lacked ashura's chakra to gain his fathers chakra which leads to the rinnegan.

Hagoromo and Hamura didn't knew Kaguya was part of the Juubi in the manga but in the anime arc they saw Kaguya fusing with the Tree.
