Hagoromo had Sharingan

Sasuke's 6 tomoe Rinnegan which could use Sharingan's power was given to him by Hagoromo, so he had the Sharingan's power. It doesn't matter if it's the normal 3 tomoe or not, but it's a fact he possessed the Sharingan's power. He gave that power to Sasuke and his Uchiha decedents came to have the Sharingan inheriting his genetics obviously. Why can't you people understanding basic things?

Explain why Sarada doesn't awaken Rinnegan but her weird Sharingan with a dozen tomoes instead. The Rinnegan watered down.

Firstly the rinnegan doesn't have a dozen tomoe, even the Jyubi's eye had 9 as a max limit, Sasuke's has 6 as an upper limit, and most importantly it's called progression. Sarada hasn't done it yet, heck she hasnt even activated 2 tomoe. None of that negates the potential for her to do so. Finally she's not an indra incarnate or recipient of chakra directly from Hogaromo.

She is the child of someone who's awakened Rinnegan akin to Hagoromo's children. Your last bits holds zero water considering Hagoromo's eye prowess did pass on & not simply because Indra is Indra. Indra is Indra because Indra is Hagoromo's child. Your very first point is what I'm saying. Sarada obtains a Sharingan with a dozen tomoes, in other words, not the Rinnegan.
