If we recall, manga chapter 622, the first time Madara and Hashirama met there was a deadman which Hashirama recognize by his crest to belong to the Hagoromos clan.
on the other hand, the Kaguya clan, Also a long extinct clan like the hagoromo clan...
Remember Kimimaru???? he was the last living descendant of this blood thirsty clan. in this clan we can see a direct conection with Princess kaguya, the hermit's mother:
in this post im just trying to clarify that there has been other descendants of hermit and kaguya mention in the manga. NOT only the senju and uchija. this explains why the uzumaki are called distant blood relatives, even the Hyuuga must be direct descendants of kaguya, giving they are the only clan to posses the byakugan.
this clan along with the Uchija, opposed the Senju Clan. narutopedia also states that this was one of the earliest clans that existed even before the formation of the hidden villages. Apparently, this clan must have had a direct conection with the hermit sage. perhaps they were descendants of the hermit's brother, giving rise to distant blood relatives of the senju, such as the uzumaki. but this is just a theory, as there iis no evidence to back up this, with the exception of the name......You must be registered for see images
