Alright, so I reread the passage and you raised some interesting facts and speculations and seem to be logically sound. But this is kishi were talking about. Its his story so he can either ruin it or state the obvious.

Now ill answer one of your question with a theory. Since that the lineage of the hyuga and the uzumaki is speculated to be from the SB side, we can assume that when the juubi was sealed (due to translation errors, some say just in hago, some say both hago and the bro) the yin-yang of the juubi was split(if its only sealed in hago) into indra and ashura (if its both sealed within the sages) or hago and his bro.

If the second part is what truly happened, then the transmigration didnt begin with hagos children but with kaguyas.

This would make it possible for the transmigration to happen within one of the four clans.

Perhaps it just looks like that it only happens between the uchiha and senju clans. However, we can safely prove that thats not always the case: Naruto being one of them.

As well as Nagato, being an Uzumaki, managed to retain and use the rinnegan as if it was his. Even Madara took note that he chose him because he was an uzumaki.

As for the reaper death seal, I like your theory. But for now, it seems unlikely since we do not know much of his brother and even Hago and their mother. For all we know, the demon from the death seal could be one of them. Or none of them.

After a fair amount of consideration I find it fairly likely that not only will he be the Byakugan ancestor (aside from Kaguya who is clearly the original one), but also the Uzumaki ancestor. As the Uzumaki clan was primarily known for enormous chakra reserves and sealing jutsu I find it likely it was the brother who sealed the Jubi within Hagomoro (not against his will), and I believe I'd go even further to speculate as a few have that he pioneered the Death Reaper Seal, doing something similair too Minatos seal with Naruto sealing Half the Jubi in his brother the Sage, and the Death Reaper Icon (the figure that appears) is none other than Hagos brother the other half of the Jubi being sealed away within him from there we could assume its because of this power he became the figure of the Seal, Hagomoro transmigrates and he is the ever present reaper, which for all we know could very easily be a conscious being I've yet to see anyone attempt to address him for obvious reasons. It is however unclear to me if that means the power is lost forever I realize Impure World Ressurection allowed an interesting case with Minato bringing back the missing piece to what would in my assumption be part of Hagomoros half. I dont however see any way you could use impure world ressurection to revive Hagos brother as there is doubtless no trace of his DNA to bring him back, but Kaguya will I'm sure soon make an appearance. However having said this opens up more than a few interesting questions. First of all if all that speculation is correct why would Ashura reincarnate into Naruto, who would be kind of out of his family branch. Also if it was the Sage would doubtless see some uncanny resemblance between Naruto and his brother (yes I realize countless generations would seperate them, but throughout the Manga Kishi likes to place very obvious family resemblances or closely related character and personality between distant relatives) so why would Hago not comment further on that, he definently seemed in no rush to send him back. Also what interesting new power might Naruto unlock having been given some of Hagomoros power from Hago, having some already from his son being reincarnated within him, and being a descendant of the brother, might he ascend closer to the currently mysterious level of Kaguya? Also just thought of this if the sealing idea was right perhaps within the Biju chakra, then the Jubi chakra he placed some of Hagos Chakra so thats what caused his transmigration similair to Kushina appearing to Naruto, but with definite differences, and maybe like Minatos obviously two pronged seal which allowed Naruto to meet both of his parents, Hagos brother lies deeper within the seal (no clue what it would be). Also if all this is wrong and it very easily could be I would definently be interested in seeing Hagos brother be Jashin the "God", entity whatver you wana call it that granted Hidan that immortality, would you guys also enjoy that? Sorry I dragged on longer than intended, but as to those questions I have no idea so what do you guys/girls think about all this?

I wouldnt say that. Perhaps people already have even before you posted that theory. I even had to ask who is the ancestor of the uzumaki and the hyuga. You can put two and two together. But kishi might ruin it for us by pulling a fast one and saying "NOOOOOOOOOOPE y'all wrong. My manga, my story." it is his so if you are one of the first then good on you lets just hope our speculations are correct this time and it wont be fan fic
