Bijuu Bomb can destroy the moon, Perfect Susano'o can destroy it and so fourth. Creating the moon is indeed a great feat, but power wise it doesn't say much. Madara would probably be able to do that before even gaining the Juubi himself, as he was easily able to manipulate meteors.

Anyway, we've not seen any hagoromo feats, ( we've seen some of his abilities but not used by him ). I'd warn against going with hype but I think this is an exception. Hagoromo is second only to kaguya and possibly his brother.

By hype Hogoromo is a planetary threat easily. Since on his death bed he created the moon. By what we have seen, we can only assume so much.

By feats:
He has omnyouton
He can levitate
Can transmigrate? allowing for pseudo immortality.

I would argue that we could at least powerscale juubi jink Hogoromo to juubi jink obito.

Basically, with power scaling and feats we can assume Hogoromo had omnyouton hax, flight, and country destructive capacity. Thats low-end.

If the CT core can withstand the weight of the moon, which is several quintillion tons, then it can easily withstand Amaterasu or Yaska Matagama

Eventually the moons own gravitational force would hold it together without needing the orb.
