wow lol Hitler did deserve to die, but his death was a great disspointment. F ing coward commited suicide and avoided capture. If he had been captured and turned over, he would have suffered a painful and looong torture.
The man killed over 6000 million people and specially Jews (hated Jews because I think or read that his mother had been raped by a jewish man).
WW2 was the greatest (not coolest, I mean biggest) and most destructive war in the history of earth.
Hitler did cause great fear throught all of europe.
BTW: calm down, hes dead not gonna hurt n e one here nor should it hurt n e ones feelings.

This thread is just wrong. I bet there's some jews around on NB and they can get very angry about this. I don't like Hitler. He was a crazy man that killed people and seperated them in "rase". Is this man a good person? No, this is the work of a crazy man that deserved to die.

Hitler, despite his "shortcomings", was actually a genius. He took Germany from a post WWI depression and led them to financial stability, as well as an overall growth of the country. In fact, he was so prominent and so valuable to Germany in the beginning that he was Time magazine's man of the year. True, he killed over 11 million people, but the Russian revolution and the early communist leaders killed countless more and in Africa today there is countless genocide rivaling, if not surpassing what Hitler did.
Hitler was a self hating man that did terrible things that he will burn in h*ll for eternity for. I never understood how people would follow him since he wasn't in the category he was praised so much for. However he in a way created Volkswagen. He didn't create it but he ordered for a cheap, efficient car to b made, yes that was brilliant. Though that one thing pales in comparison to everything else he did.

he is just the tip of the despair that spreads over the world.....
its just that he killed too many in his own country but the amount of deaths sly politics lead to are far greater than his outright war....
Though i am still certainly against the killing.

Lol well...in the US? Not that much. History in American schools...at least 1st grade through 12th as far as I know is mainly like...American history and like random ancient history...we did learn some stuff about WW2 but we tend to focus more on the Holocaust than the actual war. It kinda sucks in that aspect. You're from Germany? What do they teach about it
