Waindetsu is 182 cm tall. Unlike his other clansmen, he is unique with his black hair, only his eyes tell the story of his Hōzuki heritage. He is not seen in Iwagakure's flak jacket, yet in his own few signature garments. His main garment consists of a signature white bandana strapped on his head, with a symbol of his clan on it's left side. His standard ninja pouch is on his back, while the other is diagonally strapped around his torso, with the Iwa forehead protector sewed into it. In his standard pouch he carries few senbons, kunais, shurikens and flash bombs, while carrying some lighter stuff in his diagonally strapped pouch such as explosive tags, variety of poisonous dusts, and few scrolls. His garments are black and white with his signature katana strapped to his back.
While on S ranked or ANBU missions he simply wears black garments with a black flak jacket, with a black bandana over his mouth and nose.

Waindetsu is a pure man in his core, even though touted as the Third Coming of the Demon (Zabuza's Momochi incarnate), he was raised in secrecy, so he didn't have an oportunity, nor a motive to demonstrate his terrifying powers. He is kind hearted and goofy in nature, but not the one you would like to piss off. When sparing with his sensei one day, he was told that his bloodthirstiness in battle surpasses Zabuza's by a big margin. His sensei nicknamed him "The Silent Wind."

Waindetsu Hōzuki is originally from Kirigakure's Hōzuki clan. Born and raised in Kiri, he was hidden away and protected from the influence of his fellow clansmen (Suigetsu, Mangetsu), and given another name. The sheer protective act of Kirigakure's anonymus samaritan (rumoured to be one of the top heads in Kiri's ANBU corps) was hardly enough to surpress the young-mans curiosity, upon becoming a Genin and recieving his first forehead protector, he learned about his family, his past and his powers.
He was intrigued by his Clan's abilities (Hydrification), but even though he was touted to be multiple times better at it than Suigetsu or Mangetsu, his prime element of interest was Fuuton (hence he got the name Waindetsu, being a Fuuton prodigy even at the age of 5, and being able to do fast 1 handseal Fuuton jutsu's by the time he graduated from Kiri academy)
He quickly picked up the pro-s and con-s of Hydrification. Being a prodigy that he was; by the time he became Chuunin he was using Suiton and Hydrification jutsu's with 1 handseal aswell.
Deep down he despised his brethren, his village, the bloodshed that stained their name troughout history. He had multiple goals, but the most important of them was to track down Suigetsu, see what became of his fellow clansmen, get some answers and act upon hearing them; since he heard some gruesome things about him. He has also swore to himself, to eradicate the remainder of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist, whom in his own mind and perspective, embarassed the true meaning behind those words, behind those swords.
"They stained the mist with blood, tears and civillian screams" He said to his tutor upon leaving the village.
"They will now get to know the real Demon, because one day, I shall eradicate them all sensei, and if the Mist does not get a change of heart in the time before us, it too shall feel my wrath. Sayonara sensei"
At the age of 17, 2 years after Suigetsu vanished (got abducted) from the village, Waindetsu has followed in his footsteps, in the same time uncovering his true identity, shocking Kiri officials whom were unaware of this fact. Due to him being different in stature and looks from both Suigetsu and Mangetsu.
One year after he departed, he was tracked down and almost killed by Kirigakure's ANBU. Only to awake at Iwagakure's medical facillity. Saved by a young Iwagakure shinobi named Hazama, whom later on became the Tsuchikage and one of the strongest shinobi in history.
After that day, he pledged his loyalty to Iwagakure, he even went trough their academy, starting from the scratch, out of sheer respect he had for Iwa's legendary heritage.

水化の術 Hydrification: is a protean, whole-body technique whereby the user can liquify their body at will. It is the signature technique of the Hōzuki clan. This technique makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair, to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. Applying this technique, the user can also modify their body parts for suitable situations.
