Eh, Kishi probably retconned it. Either that, or Hiruzen being the strongest Kage was false from the start (I remember Oro mentioning that the other kage were toying with him, not to mention that as far as I can remember, Iruka was the only one who actually said that Hiruzen was the strongest Kage).

the manga isnt wrong son. the content in it sometimes is indeed messed up but never wrong ..he will fix this hashirama hype whether he makes someone call him the strongest of all ..or something i am sure near madara will think back and we will see what happend we might even get an episode or flashback on hashirama that would be cool...remember manga is never wrong ..its just mistakes that are ignored because they dont matter but end up being a big key in the story and would be too late to fix..he cant outright say oh sorry i made a mistake and called hiruzen a god ill just erase that its imposible...but he can try hype up a character even more than what he said or try 2 ...it depends how people take it really...now with the hiruzen is god thing ...u cant say he will beat edo madara can you? i think he made him edo + add hashi's dna to show how strong they were ...because of the power levels so he needed something more to show and a stronger power thats madara edo freak....and someone has to be the one who can stop him..which is hashi ...now i really dont care who is stronger between hashi or hiruzen..kishi will show at the end who is stronger wait for the new databooks

Lol. I meant I would love to see Hashirama fight and use his techniques, not what we see from Madara. Madara and Hashirama are different, so I would like to see Hashirama use his own techniques.

And I mainly want to see Prime Hiruzen. Iruka didn't see Prime Hiruzen, nor Hashirama. Same with how Madara has not seen Prime Hiruzen. If we see those two things, then we might be able to have an actual discussion about these two.

Although I don't think we'll see Prime Hiruzen, because it would have to be from someone who cared for him, and actually saw his Prime.

All the people who existed in hiruzens prime.. The elders, oro , jiraya, kakashi's fathers

and note that the jounins at that time, and older people who said this would have lived long enough TO KNOW hashirama's and tobirama's strengths.. since their deaths weren't too far off..

Despite knowing the 2 former kages, they still considered hiruzen's strength to be stronger
