So Many people would say Tsunade just got demolished or pulverized..........but I've seen weaker opponents take on and took out several tailed beast, which includes, Deidara, Sasori, Kakashi, Gai, Hidan, Not to mention Kakuzu who are lesser of that, Tsunade, (I'm not trying to aggravate you all but its the truth and we all know it)
The first thing I will discuss about our current hokage is her speed issue that has raise the bar of her not capable to execute rapid movements.......which i really dont know where it came from and which lunatic started up that issue on the base

Naruto on the other hand dont have any counter for that jutsu and if he gets hit, it can cut him off completely from Kurama's chackra, I know people will say, Tsunade cant hit Naruto because A tried and he evade Raikage's thunder punch, but it was the same Naruto who got stop by Madara's fan several times, despite out running A/EI, few hrs ago, despite Madara unable to dodge A's punches (even when not powered up by Onoki) besides as i have said, weaker and slower have taken out beast and the EIGHT TAILS MADE IT CLEAR THAT THE STRONGEST BEAST DOESN'T DETERMINE BY THE NUMBER OF TAILS
Ok so how will Tsunade deals with TBB, Rasen-shuriken, and couple Frogs, well she herself could handle the rasen-shuriken attack base on what was illustrated in the manga............

The whole point is the fact that Naruto can solo anyone in the Manga/Anime because its all about him and we all know that, but just compare him with others thats not the case (eliminate plot)
Another major downfall is his thinking ability of not being able to execute strategies in war properly and thats also a major downfall, if kurama doesn't intercept sometimes Naruto dont know what to do.......(this has being proven on various occasions in the Manga)

I've heard people say katsuyu cant fight, but if that was the case she would have died a long time ago, because as you can clearly see Katsuyu is Tsunade's only summon thus far and Tsunade always calls on her in times of trivial/ troubles.
Her offensive abilities of shooting acid and sticky substance/slime is more than enough to eliminate all of Naruto Frogs with her defensive ability of dividing and transferring Tsunade's jutsus to her opponents, i mean she is beast and works effectively with Tsunade, something that Naruto lacks with his frogs, her telepathy communication of relaying information to Tsunade is best in theses situations when being outflank......Bunta and gang would succumb to Tsunade's attacks (chackra scalpel--tearing muscles, paralyzing and poisoning them) i must admit if they are not careful they will fall under the two sage toads genjutsus......which are very dangerous but if it comes down to that, she can easily envelope Tsunade in her diminutive state and confuses the frogs about her master's location.........
Being inside her belly Tsunade could easily undo the genjutsu (frog song which takes a considerable amount of time to perform, because of preparation) if get caught, and as Mr Morocco would say desperate times calls for desperate measures i would assume from here on out that Katsuyu would utilize her abilities to the fullest; (spitting acid in the toads eyes and gluing them together with her sticky slime) hence rendering them useless......

A mini slug could withstand a heightened bomb, a corrosive cloak dont forget a chibaku tensei and shinra Tensei in the process, if the TBB should be repetitive then katsuyu could go underground (being a gastropod) or divide very small to escape most of its attacks, (with her master encapsulated) we have seen how the bombs operates it only grazes the top layer of the soil and leaves a crater behind, depending on its width(big, medium or small)...Taking into consideration that Kishi has already stated that once Tsunade has chackra she cant be killed several times in his creation and giving how her slug is mostly good at tanking high damages proves that she herself can possibly with stand the attack

Now, as for speed.

I really think you're assuming too much. When it comes to conversations such as this we draw all our data from the manga first, and the databook as a secondary reference.

In the manga, you can only attribute someone a skill if they have either been shown using it, or other's have hinted at them using it, or if it is logical to assume they can do it.

For example, I don't think we've seen many characters using the body flicker technique, but we assume they can use it to some degree because it is a basic.

Now, what you're doing is making an illogical assumption about Tsunade. She has never shown speed feats on the level of A or Naruto (BM). She also has never been said to possess such speed. On top of that it isn't logical to assume she possesses such speed because every other character who we put on that level of speed has either shown it, or has been said to possess it.

When you start talking about how high she can jump, you have to remember that the Rasenshuriken is fast. Kakuzu never dodged a thrown Rasenshuriken to my knowledge, because Naruto couldn't yet throw it when they fought.

Even when he threw it at Pain's paths, some of them lacked the speed to dodge it. The 3rd Raikage did dodge it, but he has been hinted at being equal to A in speed, and Tsunade is not as fast as A.

It also stands to assume that the version of Rasenshuriken he threw at the 3rd was a faster variant since he was surprised that it was dodged, as opposed to his meh reaction to Pain dodging it.

As for her healing from the transportation technique, you said it yourself (although I think you may be exaggerating) shreds. Being torn to shreds and healing is not the same as being eviscerated and healing. You cannot heal from nothing.

As for Kishi stating that Tsunade can't be killed, please reference that because I have personally never seen that anywhere. Same goes for Katsuya surviving a heightened tailed beast bomb.

Look, realistically speaking the tailed beast bomb that Naruto used against the bijuu would eradicate Tsunade, maybe with Katsuya's help she could survive it, but then Katsuya would be out of the picture since she would definitely sustain serious damage from that.

I'm presuming that when you say "the reason Jiraiya chose her" you're referring to her as Hokage. Who else would he have chosen at the time? She is strong, yes, but she is not on Naruto's level. She and the five kage got curb stomped by the Madara alone. Whereas Naruto (albeit it with Killer Bee, Gai and Kakashi's help) is surviving against Obito AND Madara.

PS - I almost forgot to talk about the healing.

Rasenshuriken does damage on a celluar level. She has stated that she cannot heal that, and we must assume that she wasn't lying since there is no discernible reason for her to do so.

Anyway with that said, Tsunade is going to have major problems fighting Naruto's clones, backing her in a corner and overwheling her, and since Naruto is unpredictable he can simply disguise some clones as surroundings, setting Tsunade up for getting hit by multiple Oodama Rasengans, and Kurama will warn Naruto to make sure she can't regenerate, so then he'll finish her off with a Flash Bijuu Dama and it's game over( or he could use clone feints and have Naruto's kage level clones overwhelm Tsunade and then hit her with a Rasenshuriken and then she can't use any techniques anymore, because she said herself, she can't heal it ), Naruto takes this Mid-High difficulty and that's just being generous. ;D

This seems to be a very touchy debate (seeing as it has gone from Naruto not being the strongest in the village, to Naruto vs Tsunade.) My personal opinions are that Naruto has indeed surpassed Tsunade, and there are a couple of reasons for that, but I'd first like to get rid of things that might lead to argument.

Firstly, I have an issue with the statement "without the power of plot," as if plot is the only reason some people are where they are. The FACT of the matter is that the plot IS the reality of this manga, and anything less than "plot" is a Naruto manga that we contaminate with our fourth wall logic. Fourth wall logic is especially not something we should apply to events that have already taken place. Saying something like "Tsunade could have counter punched the Ashura path based on his straight trajectory and her speed" does not really work, taking into account that her condition shown at the time was of someone who was so out of chakra that she aged and went into a coma very soon after that event (in addition to the 5 other paths of pain link-watching her every move.) If/when we do use our fourth dimension logic, let it apply to everyone, not just one character.

As for my reasons as to why Tsunade could not defeat current Naruto, I took into account both of their current abilities. Naruto and Tsunade are both descendants of the Uzumaki clans, with Tsunade herself having Senju blood in her. However, what Naruto lacks in numbers, he makes up in quality. He is a half Uzumaki, while Tsunade is has a quarter Uzumaki, a quarter Senju, and the other half was assumedly not significant enough to name. With this said, while both Tsunade and Naruto have shown stamina/endurance and life force feats, Naruto slightly edges her out. Tsunade makes up for this with excellent chakra control, so in terms of amount of jutsu able to be used by both, I will give Naruto the advantage due to his ability to utilize different kinds of chakra (however, the fight should not go until the point that both of them are completely drained of chakra.)

Next, lets take a look at the battle style that they are usually shown using. Tsunade, being a battle nurse, has strength and taijutsu as a main means of attack and defense, with her medical jutsu/forbidden jutsu used as supplementary abilities. Naruto also favors taijutsu as a part of his basic attack and defense, but he also complements it with his ninjutsu. In other words, for every chakra enhanced punch or kick that Tsunade throws, Naruto would throw either a clone attack, a rasengan, or a chakra enhanced kick or punch (kyuubi chakra or sage chakra.) In terms of raw strength, despite Tsunade being known for her strength, both chakra enhanced and not, we have not seen the upper limits of Naruto's bijuu mode strength. So, let us add speed to the equation. Naruto is inarguably the fastest character in the series that does not rely on space-time techniques. He was able to cross a great distance and intercept 5 tailed beast balls, attacks that were launched at zero range. Tsunade's only comparable feat of speed is the aforementioned interception of Madara's fire attack. I never interpreted that scene as one of her demonstrating speed, but instead it displayed to me the effectiveness of her byakugou technique. There was no evidence that the other kage could not simply dodge the attacks, but we were shown that Mei was not able to mold and release the chakra for a large scale water counterattack that could protect everyone. I am sure that all of the kage could have dodged, but Tsunade instead chose to take the attack head on, wagering that her diminishing technique could be outlast any damage dealt to her BEFORE Madara himself disappears (if they were aware that he could release the jutsu, other actions may have taken place.) Naruto is faster than Tsunade, this is fact. Tsunade has not shown any indicator that she could even use raiton armor, so lets leave that assumption out. Until this chapter, we have not seen anyone engage bijuu mode Naruto in taijutsu, but if Tsunade did attempt that with Naruto, I am sure that his fighting style would wear her down.

Lastly, I would like to take a look at their techniques. Naruto has a great library of techniques based around his taijutsu, rasengan, and kage bunshin, along with their enhancements while in different "modes." Tsunade, on the other hand, fights with taijutsu and medical ninjutsu (the medical ninjutsu used either to enhance her attacks or her defense.) Naruto's great advantage comes from the use of kage bunshin, one of which is capable of handling kage class fighters. He can send two enhanced clones to engage Tsunade, and this may be enough to win the match. He has been shown to be able to create more than one clone in all of his modes, but as each mode increases his base chakra strength, the divide of chakra among the bodies is not adverse. In a battle of summons, it was stated that Katsuyu could handle tailed beast balls, and I consider this to be very incorrect. Thus far, we have been shown Katsuyu surviving being constricted by Manda (in which case she split into her various forms,) surviving shinra tensei (her multiple bodies used to protect citizens,) and surviving Naruto's tailed beast transformation. However, I believe that this only shows that Katsuyu can survive blunt trauma. Her survival of Naruto's transformation is not something that I consider a feat, seeing as Naruto's clothes regularly survived his transformations, and Katsuyu was also inside of his clothing. A tailed beast ball is not simply blunt trauma, but a corrosive explosive. A single tailed beast ball was able to corrode landscapes before even reaching its explosive stage. Naruto is able to create a single ball with the power of 5 other tailed beast balls. I think that Katsuyu would be damaged to the point of incapacity, if not outright destroyed. We are not even taking into account Naruto's potential to use summons AND bijuu mode at the same time.

In conclusion, I believe that, despite Tsunade's years of experience on the field, Naruto's growth until now has shown that he is more that capable of defeating Tsunade.
