Is Zetsu a Shinobi, Plant or an unsuccessful experiment of a mad scientist probably Madara Uchiha. Moreover in tobi's flashback i think i saw both d white & black zetsu were not attached, so y does they suddenly decided to attach themselves.

what is Black Zetsu then? clearly is a separate being, I guess he is just the one who can merge and move through the forest.
