[Discussion] Guy will die from the eight gates?

Soo we know how powerfull the gates are, You guys think Guy will die from the gates? or will get heavely hurt from them? If i remember correctly ( i have a real bad memory) didnt almost Lee die while trying to open the gates? was long ago i read the old mangas / watched the anime.

I think he will open the 8th gate and die. He's already opened a few gates, look at the picture where Kakashi and he arrive at the battle field for the first time with B and Naruto he has the aura around him.

I really hope he does not die, but for the sake of a good manga, an important character needs to die. But as some allready said in this topic, he dies if he opens the 8 gate. And who knows, probably he (maybe not) discovers a new gate (the 9th gate) which might make him immortal for a while?

He already opened the 7th gate while fighting Kisame. I doubt he'd go to the 8th gate, or if he can even access the 8th gate.

You know what the intresting thing about the 8th gate, it would be hard to know what happens to the user once he opens it.

How would you know what it does if its your final battle.

I'd immagine you would die from the 8th gate but do we really know for sure?

How would kahashi know you would die if you open the 8th gate?

Is he assuming given the strain on the body the gates have and this will be far too much to bear?

Or has he seen others do this?

Are there other users in the past, you'd think this sort of powerup is right up the byugan's way in terms of chakra usage within the body.

8 Gate is a waste of time, it can never work against Endo Tail Beast Host, it is an underpowered move against the undead. A waste of a Man's life with zero chance of victory.

thats assuming hes going after the edos. He can just go after tobi while the fox and 8 tails deal with the other beasts.

The only reason I could possibly see Guy dying is to further develop Kakashi.
Although, if Guy does open the 8th gate and I think he very well might (as this technique greatly emphasizes speed which would serve to counter Tobi), he'll either survive through his sheer might, be healed by reinforcements or as said, serve to develop Kakashi's character in some sense.
