Do u relize gai survived the war and lee survived with taijutsu alone dodge all alone gai hardly was hit. he did more damage to himself then any others.

In a taijutsu fight, it's not just the first attack that matters. The ability to counter, the speed at which you strike the enemy and reflexes. Deidara was running away. Not to mention that Deidara dodged Sasuke's first attempt to cut him but what happened afterwards when Sasuke appeared behind him?. Tobi saved him. That's the ability to counter and quickly act. Did you talk about base Gai's encounter with Obito? his reflexes as well being able to counter. Running away isn't a taijutsu fight.

You talk about Madara blitzing Naruto and Sai. Can you show me reaction feats from SM Naruto and Sai that suggest that's a special feat or feats from SM Naruto and Sai that suggest that they have better reactions than Gai ?

Gates enhances his physicals, not his skill. Madara has shown no considerable striking feats or any CQC showings, while Gai successfully stopped Obito from using Kamui on him in CQC. It's laughable to think Madara can beat him in a taijutsu fight.

Bruce Lee couldn't pick up a sword and be at the same advantage as a skilled samurai. Using a sword is completely different from using your fists, and it gives more range to the user and greater lethality considering each strike has potential to kill, so a taijutsu vs. kenjutsu fight is not the same.

Blind SM Madara annihilates Gai - people seem to forget that with just Taijutsu and almost no Kenjutsu, he obliterated Hashirama, Tobirama, and EMS Sasuke without taking a rest.

Now, Sharingan Madara vs Gai would be a little closer. If he has the 3 Tomtoe Sharingan, he kills Gai just like he did to the dozens of ninjas; he kicked their ass and they were all Jounin-class ninjas from their respective villages.
