5 gates made Kid Lee godlike,Kakashi couldnt keep track of his moves.Now scale that shit up to Gai.5 gates Gai can overpower Base Bee with speed alone.

I think Gai is being a Tad underrated. Lets not forget Gai can punch so fast he creates flames from friction alone. (Note we've only seen him do it with the 6th gate open). But i'd dare say he could punch almost as fast using the 5th gate.

Obviously bee had the advantage because of his insane kenjutsu.

Well the needing for restrictions only shows that Bee needs to be restricted from his full power for Guy to stand a chance. Well Bee can still use the Hachi chakra for it's initial form that Naruto would do when he first used Kurama's chakra and his eye and claws were more Kurama like. That would increase Bee's power even more. Guy had to go 6 gates to beat Kisame without Shamehada SoI still see Bee winning this.

i mean no hachibi chakra at all, just pure kenjutsu vs taijutsu. this isn't really a typical vs match up.

Did you even read that chapter? Kakashi could keep up with Lee 5th gate, it was Gaara's sand that couldn't keep up. Kakashi only thought "Fast!!" meaning Lee's speed increase surprised him and that's all, the sharingan could still see it. Also aren't you forgetting the fact that Gai had to go 6th gates against a fake Kisame with 1/3th his power then went 7th gate to beat a Kisame without Shamehada.
