Sakura is not ninjutsu, the TSB rod in this case just did regular damage, obliterating body tissue upon contact which sakura out healed.

I know Sakura is not a ninjustu, that's why I ask what purpose does it serve?

Does TSB on contact keep people in binded/bondage?

The thing is that the rods all them used originated the Gedo mazou, black zetsu is made of the same material.

He made his way in Gedo and out through Madara when being applied to white zetsu.

Madara brought out these rods even after black zetsu made his appearance:

So now knowing that black zetsu is the same product, here we see black zetsu being used as a rikudou staff (which erases ninjustus)

Kishimoto never hinted at the rods being able to erase chakra like the Truth-Seeking Sphere technique can, nor have they been shown to be malleable. In the anime even, they look like some sort of metal. We don't know if Obito used Black Zetsu as the material to create the staff or not. Madara complimented Obito on his usage of Hagoromo's Sage Mode/Chakra, after aborbing chakra from the former. It also doesn't even look like the rod erased Amaterasu, yet intercepted the attack.

Facts:
Truth-Seeking Sphere's are malleable, yet cannot be erased or created as said somewhere(I forgot). The Rinnegan allows you to create rods that can be broken in half with pure wrist/arm strength.

The rods haven't been shown to erase any type of technique.

As far as we know, that black stuff Madara was using was Black Zetsu that slid out from his wrist from hiding and pretended to be Madara's will.

Oh the spiral zetsu guy came from the god tree, he can only survive independently when the Gedo mazou is around.

If not, his only means of surviving is from eating life energy from a human being (Obito and Yamato).

Once the Gedo was gone, he died immediately

Can people other than kaguya create another gudodama sphere? When Madaras was taken away it seemed to be gone until the kaguya incident.

It's a material in which you transfer ones Justu/chakra through.

The fact that black zetsu (same material) was able to be used as a rikudou staff should hint something.

TSB and black rods functioned exactly the same and was formed as such in many occasions Madara, Obito, and even naruto.

It didn't look like an interception, the flames seized to burn.

TSB consist of 5 element chakra which forms into yin yang release.

Rinnegan doesn't create black rods as for Madara used it in the cave with Obito.

Nagato gained the rods through Gedo mazou implants, his paths had to retrieve the rods from animal paths body too.(meaning it's not producible for him)

TSB also snaps on contact with senjustu, like when RSM naruto rod snapped in half by Rikudou Madara.

Naruto was using the rods for his six path Justus, so it can hold one property at a time.
