Itachi, Tsunade and Pain.

Tsunade is so underrated, she actually has more balls than half the male characters in this series.

Kakashi, Naruto and Kisame. All in different aspects.

Kakashi because of his wisdom and experience. He always stays calm and makes the right decision, and is not too stubborn nor haughty enough to ignore words of advice that others give him, whether they're below or beneath him. Like Obito. He was on a whole other level than him when they were younger, but he still heard him out. That quality is ideal in a parent when listening to their child.

Naruto because of his dream. He's trully a legendary character. He turns everyone he meets into his ally, and always sees the good in everyone. Not once has he ever completely turned his back on a villain, except for Obito (but for good reason, he killed a friend).

And Kisame because he values what he was. He killed himself to serve his organization, and if there's 1 thing I love about a character, it's loyalty.

1.Naruto
2.Hiruzen
3.Gaara (Part 1)
4.Shikamaru
5.Minato/Kushina

All based on personality/actions, not strength.

Itachi Uchiha
Before my friend introduced me to the series, he knew I'd become a bit of an Itachi fan-girl - same way I was with Sirius Black for Harry Potter, I guess.
Can't be helped though! Both are talk/dark/handsome - with a killer backstory, both with questionable and possibly murderous intentions, genius intellect paired with rebelliousness
:win:

I could give several pages filled with reason as to why, but I can’t be arsed so I’ll be brief. I suppose it comes down to one thing in the end;
- Tragedy -

If they don’t have it; they’re boring (to me). Examples: Ino, Sakura, Choji.

It’s why I can tolerate Naruto. Why I like the Hyuga, Tsunade, Gaara and felt more invested in Shikamaru after Asuma died; and why I adore Kakashi Hatake as much as Itachi.

without too much thought, maybe Hiruzen. He was so loving of everyone in the village. He was like a father to everyone, not just Konohamaru. And a great mentor as well, evidence of the sannin.
