The Big 3 of the WW2. Churchill representing Britain, Stalin reppin USSR (Current day Russia), Roosevelt Reppin the U.S.A. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PICK.



Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill - This man was a amazing speaker and was considered the "Hope" of Britain. He was not into the encasement that the former prime minister of Britain supported. Which was to make a deal with Hitler, instead of directly doing something about it. However , these deals were broken by Hitler. And Prime Minister Chamberlain gave up the title, and hence Churchill became the new Prime Minister. This man started off with declaring war on Germany, and also, giving his famous speech in the House of Commons. Overall, a great leader.


Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin - This man, reached to the top of his communist party, by "kicking off" the opponent or the competition. However, this man Developed USSR in a SuperPower, which would evenhandedly defend and beat Germany and its allies on the eastern Front. This man can be also be referred to the "Danzo" of Naruto-verse. His methods very much like Hitler's methods, but just not that extreme. He industrialized the USSR, and basically changed the ways of the communist party.


Franklin Delano Roosevelt - The longest serving president the United Stated has seen. Also, the president who did the most. This man is considered a 'Savior' or was the closest thing to "GOD" (Its a metaphor, not seriously) by those who are from his time, my grandparents and many in the elderly homes have told me this, but still up for debate. Now, this man took the office of president, when the biggest depression in history of the world hit , the Great Depression. He made many programs. He led the United States through the WW2. And averages as the #2nd Greatest President of the United States in all the "greatest presidential poles". # 1 is Linclon. #3 George Washington.


So with this given , who do you think was the Greatest leader out of these 3?

Churchhill did well defending against a huge threat, and managed to survive till the americans joinged the war.

Roosevelt did well leading, and did his job well. However, he began to get to comfy in the white house. Most of what he did was good.

I don't want to get into a huge historical debate, but the only reason Hitler hated the Jews was because they, the Jew-Germans (probably a more politically correct term), made up 10% of the population of Germany. They ran the country, were the wealthiest people, etc. Hitler just wanted equality, in a way. And yeah, even Catholic Churches followed Hitler's rule. They were indeed desperate.

Yes, Lincoln. Undoubtably a great president, but he did pass a bill that he had no power to pass. *cough* Emancipation Proclamation *cough* There were some other things he did that he shouldn't have done, but I forget what they are. lol

Technically all of them have had major influence as leaders, but for me, Churchill and Roosevelt hold a lil more respect than Stalin. Roosevelt helped the US majorly during the depression and WWII, and Churchill, I mean, he's a brit. Nobody can hate Brits v_v Plus, defending against countless assaults from what was essentially a major power day in and day out, and trying to keep his people calm, not an easy thing to do.

As for Hitler...military wise, he was brilliant. As a leader, he was incredible. His ideals were...let's call them "misguided"...and his actions against Russia were foolhardy to an extreme. However, he did manage to take hold of pretty much all of Europe :/

what i meant, was he was a really great leader who managed to keep hope alive in his people, when they were being attacked and forced in the corner. He had great speeches and just did well in leading his people, when they were on the brink of defeat.

Roosevelt, led his people out of a depression, He never had to lead in a hopeless situation, just get the wheel rolling. I just think that in general churchill was better by all standards. I didnt really mean by far. Ohh well, to each his own.

Yea, true, but Roosevelt on the other hand did lead his people longer and saw more disparity as a leader and faced more challenges. He also, then had to deal with the congress, who being little " anti-european wars".. and etc.

Also, Great Depression = Hopeless situation. The president before him Roosevelt, had just made the depression worst.

Lol ;x. It doesn't really matter if he had the right or not tho. ^_^. There was a civil war and he was the leader and the people of the North didn't really revolt against it. But I think its due to that , that hes regarded as one of the greatest presidents tho. (I still believe Washington was the better one).

Historical debates are pretty fun xD. But I gotcha.

Hitler actually blamed everything on the jews. It made no sense. It wasn't just the German jews.. but just the overall Jewish people.

FDR, Churchill was a charismatic leader during WW2 but in terms of government reforms he did little, Stalin, well he killed 20+ million of his own people. FDR served three presidencies and lifted the country from the 1920's great depression onwards, oh and he was also cripple while doing that

Yes he took out everyone out of the Great Depression, but he could have done it in other ways. Now we are suffering for what he did. Every president after him has abused the Executive Order and pushed for things that should have went through Congress that the people wanted. People should have the right on what to say about gun control and not have our current president make the decision for us. We also should have had a say in the Home Land Security Act, but Bush never let us either. this is all thanks to FDR. At that time he may have looked like a "god" but in retrospect, he is horrible. Anyone else is better choice then him. Even Bush or Obama.

He led the nation through the majority of the biggest war we had ever entered. He helped pave the way for a necessary set of well-fare reforms and acts. Considering all of the class division we have today, the lack of those programs would make this country even more elitist. The use of executive power in his branch was nowhere near as great as the executive power being utilized today. Roosevelt didn't start wars. Congress actually declared war in his time. Bush and Barrack Obama continued prolonged wars by the use of executive action only.

And he's worse than Carter? Nixon? We could go down the list. You have no idea what you're talking about.

OT: Roosevelt by far. Stalin only refined the system by betraying Lenin's vision and using capitalist policies to develop the economy of the USSR. (which was smart.) And then we can go to the mass graves. Churchill didn't do crap as a statesman. The best thing he ever did was tell the Nazis 'hell no.' I would still choose him over Stalin, but he was regardless the weakest politician out of the three.
