1. Prince Oberyn The Red Viper of Dorn- He proved he was the best fighter thus seen, he easily bested the Mountain but ultimately succumbed to emotions.

2. Kharl Drogo- From what we saw of him he was extraordinary seemingly bred for fighting so much so that King Robert Baratheon feared for Westeros if his hoard ever crossed the narrow sea.

3. Jamie Lannister- He was arguably as renown and feared as the Mountain, nobody wanted to face him, but I think it was clear Eddard Stark was his match.

4. Eddard Stark- Warden of The North, respected by all of Westeros, and Jamie Lannister wanted to face him really badly.

5. Vabrosi Water Danser- I forgot the name of the guy who was training Arya Stark but he was really good so good that he took down 3 knights with no armor on and armed with only a wooden stick, his skills was so great that they we're reminiscent of dances much like kimimaru taijutsu.

6. Gregor Clegan The Mountain- 6'9 ft tall man and freakishly fast for his monstrous size he truly was the most feared man in Westeros for sheer combat.

7. Jon Snow- Has the potential to be the best ever and his role in the rest of the books aside from what takes place this season he is to become commander of the nights watch and lead the revolt against Lord Bolton while aiding Lord Stannis Baratheon, and Jon Snow has defeated several swordsmens.

8. Sandor Clegane The Hound- Almost equally feared as much as his brother the Mountain.

I have a few disagreements. The first, Jaime was regarded (by everyone, even those who hated him) to be the greatest fighter in Westeros. Speaking clearly of when he had his sword hand and wasn't super malnourished. Second, People need to send Robert Baratheon some love! Also claimed to be a ferocious fighter with his war hammer, led a successful rebellion and killed Rhaegar (no slouch himself). Third, I feel Ned is a too high. He was always regarded as a very good fighter but never great. I feel as though Sir Barristan Selmy should definitely be above him (what. a. baddass.) and possibly even Sir Loras even though he was young, he showed renowned skill. besting even Jaime on an occasion or two. Those are my biggest disagreements for the most part, but solid work. + rep my man

Agree with the list, you forget Rob Stark, Jon Snow admitted inferiority to his older brother telling Sam at the Knights Watch, and also Brienne of Tarth who defeated Jamie Lannister when he was a bit tired and cuffed. Oh and it's Khal Drogo not Kharl, RIP Oberyn Martell of Dorn.

I never watched it didn't know they had nudity. how much do they show
Season 1 was like porn with a story.

Season 2 had lots of it but less than season 1

Season 3 was becoming more story oriented and the *** are just getting naked and then cutting to the next scene.

Season 4 same as season 3.

Im good with less porn. Less awkward and more story in one episode.

OT: funny how these "legendary" fighters died in a fodder way.

Jamie Lannister was never said to be the best by anyon, everyone did acknowledge him as being great but even he himself said to Ned Stark that there are about 3people that can compete or best him and he seemed to think Ned Stark was great because he wanted to face him very badly.

Sir Loras is not great and he was a little ***** when the Mountain was about to cut him up and then the Hound saved him, he has absolutely done nothing to make the list. Sir Barriston Selmy is great but Ned Stark said his father said Barriston was the best he had ever seen and many fighters clearly came about after Ned dad came and gone and he has not fault anyone so far

i agree with most of your post except i dont think jaime was feared as much as the mountain or hound . Very skilled yes . But id take moutain or hound over jaime . Jaime fought ned stark to a draw , before interference so .

Yeah... but Ned and Jaime never actually fought. Ned and his men were on horseback, Jaime wanted to frighten Ned and ordered the his men to kill the Stark guards. Ned got injured due to his horse getting injured, falling, and in turn crushing his leg when he was trying to save him men.
