What? Ass pull? How? The concept of taking oaths and placing limitations on oneself was introduced ages ago. Gon put his life on the line to kill one person, and this was the result on his body (don't click if you haven't read past 333) [ ].

True but Gon never really learn about that.. and about how it actually works
it's just the typical DBZ shit. Solve power with power even when the series was supposedly against that. it's bullshit

and again, gon had no options at all for this. he had no way to plan his way into beating nef, the power desparity was just too great, and he didn't have any tools to close that gap

and the author made it that way, and instead of making the consequences of this: Gon losing. He made Gon pull out an ass pull God mode. Doesn't matter how desperate Gon is or how bad the situation is. I mean if you are going that route then why bother with all this babble about strategy in the first place..

I know this is awesome at 1st. that's what i thought years ago when they released this chap, but when you think about it this doesn't make any sense.. Togashii just trying to end this arc ASAP

Not quite, because its been foreshadowed that Gon has ridiculous potential, as does Killua

Kurapika was shown to express what happens when someone intensifies their power by adding a very hefty restriction + condition on their powers [chain on his own heart]

Kurapika explained how he was restricted to Gon, [which is one way of saying he knew if he laid his life on the line he would access great power]

However throughout the chimera arc, we were shown that Gon's emotions and anger were affecting his power

E.g.1 Morel testing Gon
E.g.2 Killua referring to Gon's aura as no longer comparable to before, and how Pitou would need to nen defeat him

since we were introduced to nen, the concept has been cohesive

nothing to complain here IMO

however everyone has their own opinion and likes and dislikes

but to say it came out of nowhere....i disagree

Foreshadowed or what not Gon has no idea how to do this.. how did he force his body mature like that ?
we know from Knucle's estimation of how strong Gon should have been. Where did all this aura come from? There's no explanation for it, and I can't think of a reasonable one either.

as i mentioned earlier Kurapakia mentioned how he limited himself in regards to the Spiders for his powers against them.

That alone, explained to both Gon and Killua the concept behind it.

This also explains how Killua was able to accurately describe what was happening and try to warn his friend to stop

but as i said, i guess we all take what we want from whats written

And to Achieved that Kurapika undergo such intense training while Gon pull it out of nowhere, and NO Killua is trying to compared it to Bisca but then he realized that what happen to Gon is nothing like that, that Kid has no idea whats going on just like me, even now in the manga its still remain as a mystery..

The Ants became a device to put the characters backs against the wall and see how they would deal in imaginative ways against foes that outclass them in aura. proving that Aura size alone means, nothing. This was beaten into the audiences head over and over again,

You can't even use the size of an Aura as a measuring stick" Then suddenly Gon gets mad and over powers an already horribly over powered character. It's trolling at it's best.

Insanely awesome episode and a sad episode as well. Gon looked so ba his transformation was one of the transformation's ever. But what he had to sacrifice and what Killua was going through was sad.
