No, that half of his body got crushed by a rock. Which is why it was repaired by slapping a white zetsu on him. He said that he survived the rest of the rocks falling on him, which Madara said was as if Obito had phased through them. Regardless of putting the zetsu on his body, The majority of his right side of his body was entirely crushed including a portion of his head. He should have died instantly, and after that rock got taken off of him (though he should have been dead just by having that boulder crush him) he should have bled out instantly. In no logical situation is survival, without bringing him back to life from death actually make any logical sense because he should have died before white zetsu was fused with him.

. Kishi actually had it planned it out and it was obvious that what was written on that stone tablet was going to end up in something terrible. Pretty much almost every sharingan technique from part 2 are asspulls, especially izanami.

Not really an asspull though it was explained and all even had a back story to it not to mention every Sharingan technique is from Japanese mythology so kinda was bound to happen.
