You won't have a chance of getting a laptop with a dedicated graphics card for that except on places like eBay, if you want to buy from a retailer I would go refurbished because of the amount and then just go for the best processor you can get and by extension best integrated graphics, try something like this

I can't promise it won't still lag, it will be better though.
The best option if possible is to either get one on finance (only if you get 0%apr or can get a credit card with 0%apr for long enough that you can pay it off) or just save up till you have a better amount to spend I personally wouldn't spend less than $800 on a gaming laptop but I live in England and stuff is alot more expensive over her so you could probably find an ok one for around $550
alright, appreciate the advice man

yeah, without going into detail. and coming from someone who has bought laptops and built gaming computers, if you don't buy the laptop with dedicated graphics you're going to have a hard time playing games on ones with built in graphics. you can manage some games, but some high end games wont run or will have low fps.

Hate when they move threads <_<;;

Alright. Open up your task manager, go to performance tab, then play skyrim. While playing skyrim alt+tab to your task manager. If your CPU is at 100% then your CPU is limiting it. If your memory use is about 80% or above then you may be able to add more memory to speed it up.

Since you have an internal graphic card it uses your Ram for graphics memory. It may be possible to improve performance with more memory, but this only applies if your using about 80% of your memory. Also make sure to get the GOOD memory with low latency as cheap memory will not do well with graphics.

Probably message me if you want more info because I don't check this forum much.

Bro, it's a laptop, while of course you can get one that can run those games, they'll overheat in no time. There's just not enough cooling to keep them functional for a good amount of time. You should sell your laptop and get a good price, and add that to the budget you had for the graphics. You could build a pretty damn good desktop with that money. If you take that route, I reccomend the GTX 660ti. You can run Skyrim, BF3, Borderlands 60+ fps. Good luck!

*cheap laptops are not able to do that. If you got about $1000+ you can get a gaming laptop

I have the Asus G-Series and it is more powerful than my desktop XD. You have to air it out every 3 months to keep the dust from clogging it up but it stays pretty cool. BF3 is nothing for it. I have never had it overheat because I clean it out on a regular basis, speaking of its about time to do it again.

You're one of the exceptions XD. Not many people will stay commited to cleaning their laptops, so overall I would say a desktop is better in that regard.

P.S Your sig is wrong ;).

Hum.... Yeah I don't think there is much that could be done. You might be able to turn off swap-disk so everything is saved to memory but that will eat up more memory and only give you a small improvement. Turning off Superfetch will also help but only by a small amount.

I would suggest buying oblivion as it should play a lot better.

I bought an air compressor just for cleaning PC's

It is correct according to international standards.

Alright.... The thing about laptops is that upgradability is very bad. Your Intel HD "Graphic card" is actually part of the processor (CPU). Unlike a desktop you cannot just replace it with a better one and Intel HD "graphic cards" have compatibility issues with many games. You can upgrade your RAM and your hard drive on a laptop and that is about it. Your Processor and Graphic processor cannot be upgraded unless you are part of the 1% of laptops that actually allow you to upgrade your graphics card.
This sums it all up.
Most likely your video card in built in the processor and with all that ram, the the graphics cards seems to be the obvious reason why you can't play those games.
