Sasuke you're fighting literally a god level shinobi, a top 5 character with half of Hagomoro's chakra and you start off the battle with grand fireball jutsu, a basic katon that you've known since part 1? A technique you already used against naruto at vote three years ago and it didnt work then, so it's not going to work now.

I get that good battles start off with characters using their weaker techniques, and then the battle escalates from there. But that's a little extreme, starting off with an attck that sasuke should already know is more or less useless in a battle of this tier.

The grand fireball technique is a symbol that represents the Uchiha clans ability to tame fire. It was the first technique Sasuke learnt from his father. I know you must be disappointed but that technique is inevitable in a major Uchiha fight. Check out the Naruto vs Sasuke part 1, Itachi vs Sasuke that move always features.

this would actually contradict the claim made by Sasuke's tank drivers that Sasuke could "Rinneblitz" Naruto. If he needed to actually distract Naruto first, it only further proves how overrated that t/s is.
ohh shut up, its called tactics. and naruto can sense so it wouldnt be much of a borther.

what are you going to do to shut me up from your keyboard, huh internet toughie?

If you bothered to apply some adequate reading comprehension, you would know that i didn't disregard the fact that it was a diversion. The whole point was in debunking how Sasuke's t/s jutsu was impossible to counter, and yet Sasuke had to obstruct Naruto's vision before trying to use it to dmg him a second time. Your panties are just in a twist because you know there isn't a single thing i said that wasn't true, otherwise Sasuke would've got him the first time he attempted it.

First you tank drivers tried to control the dmg by claiming Sasuke didn't use his t/s jutsu in the last chapter, and the chapter debunked it. And now, you guys are hiding behind the "tactics/diversion" card when said jutsu couldn't even be used as an advantage until he obstructed Naruto's diversion first. And even then, Naruto still saw it coming.

It was a screen for his chidori, that worked for its purpose.

I think they should add "Members always complain about silly sh*t" to the terms and conditions of Naruto Base.

grand fireball jutsuʻs purpose was purely to distract naruto so that sasuke could S/T behind him.

plus, just like naruto all of sasukeʻs attacks are powered by rikudouʻs chakra.

When did Naruto become fireproof again? It's not like he could just stand there and be set on fire.

I'm disappointed with this weak jutsu, but at least it forced naruto to go 100% mode ....

no one said his jutsu is impossible to counter, difficult to counter doesnt mean impossible. so lemme get this straight, he used fire as a diversion and then ported behind naruto which would make things easier for him to land a hit seeing as naruto is distracted and for reason that is supposed to lessen the effectivness of his s/t jutsu? he did that obv so he can stand a better chance of hitting naruto, in order words making things easier for him, he is allowed to lessen his task if he has the ability to so in a way you make no sense.

urrm what are you talking about? he didnt use his s/t last week which is true and how does this chapter debunk it again? he used it here but not before so really dunno what you are saying. sasuke simply made his task easier.
