Ok, no problem.
Erm... earth is the foundation of the ninja world. It's the stability amongst the elements, which is what makes it so unique. All other elements are wild, untamed if you will, water and wind I would consider the wanderers of the world, while fire and lightning are the "psycos" (I can't find a better way of saying it lol). Without earth there could be no stability, no balance, everything would be forced in constant, and unintended motion. Earth is what allows control over your movements, and, in some cases, control over the movements of others'. Earth is also the builder of the elements, Konoha, for example, was both created and re-created by earth. It allows things to rise from a wider source of itself, while at the same time, never to the point where it's uncontrolable. Uh... that's about it I think. =/

*repeats the process from the first time, tunneling back to where I originally was but using less chakra since I already made a hole there (or the earth's at least weakened)*

*stands normally, and then shifts my feet so that their shoulder with apart and my knees are bent*

*directly after I have my fists near my waist, I stomp and thrust both of my arms vertically, at the same time thinking of sharp, tall spikes portruding from the earth*
