you could put it together yourself (or a webshop that puts it together) but your specs won't be good for that money. You'd have to cut down on processing power, and your graphical card as well as your motherboard a lot. You could buy an external fan so it doesn't overheat.

Your best shot is buying a secondhand one though. C

What is a good laptop I can get at say best buy or walmart for less then that amount. Is there one for under that amount which can handle pretty decent gaming as well? any suggestions?

Don't go to bestbuy, they are a rip off. I build computers, I've seen them have a graphics card for $250 and then I look on newegg and see it for $175 for example. I've even went there once to buy a computer for a friend a few years ago, they wanted $650 for what I could build with just $425-$440. Rip offs. Walmart is actually pretty good. But if you want gaming, don't go with an intel laptop, most have that shitty intel accelerated graphics and not something that will give good performance. Intel is great for gaming on desktops, but for laptops you'll want an AMD laptop. Their APU's are great for gaming. Unless the intel one has a high model nvidia graphics chip. But remember, if you go intel you're also paying quite heavily for the name, especially in laptops. So for what you could get from an AMD laptop, will trump an intel one of the same price.

if u need it for gaming, just get a laptop with a good gpu, like dedicated gpu gtx 760m or something like that depending on the games u play. Check also ram requirements for ur game
