we are all a product of our environment.

Most of us here (i hope) were raised to believe that murder and stealing and such is wrong. But what if you were brought up thinking otherwise?

I'll use the cannibal example because it gets the point across. Obviously all of us were raised to believe cannabalism is "bad", but if the entire planet were raised as cannibals, then cannabalism would be "good". There is no inert good or badness in any of us; we are just a product of our environment.

Same applies for naruto. We only see naruto as "good" because we were raised to believe that truth and self-sacrifice is "good". We see obito and madara as "bad" because we were raised to see distrust and tyranny as "bad".

People are just a product of their environment, ultimately. If the world was made up of thieves, we would all be thieves and not think anything of it.

OT: I agree, in the Narutoverse and in real life, there isn't a universal good or bad. Everyone acts out of what they think is right and wrong. Now if you have person who makes wrong actions intentionally and acknowledge that their actions is wrong, you could label them a bad person since they know better.

Yes yes, we know. It's all about perspective and how you see things. There is no good or evil, as those terms can mean different things to different people. But there can be a relative good or evil. Something a large group of people agree on. And according to that group, The Akatsuki, Orochimaru, Madara, Kabuto, And Obito are evil ****s.

False, not all people are swayed by their environments(not to say we aren't affected by them at least some point in our lives), some people do actually have an inate sense of morals. For example, America has been known to be "the land of the free" and such an amazing place but personally I think our government is corrupt. Same thing with people from Iraq and Afghanistan, I've met tons of fellow Americans who claim to hate all the people in Iraq and Afghanistan (because of their terrorist history) which is completely ignorant because not all of the people in Iraq are terrorists/hateful people. It all comes down to the level of ignorance in the individual, and whether he/she has a big enough head on their shoulders to see past all the lies and illusions of this world. You are correct for the most part though, environment plays a tremendous roll in the developmental stages of individuals, but it's not completely responsible for the ultimate outcome of the individuals personality/beliefs.

you are half wrong people are selfish they think that what they are doing is right and all other are wrong this life has became like this that why stealing and killing continuous repeat in the history whether it is your family friends relative they think that what they are doing is right they forced us in believing what they believe in like obito want to forced naruto that the moon eye plan is the right decision for the ninja world. Madara's one against all, that makes him bad, plus his methods. He claim he wants to bring peace yet he slaughters people and rules them by power on every occasion. The world NAruto lives in has never achieved peace, IF it does, there's always either despair or darkness like the Uchiha massacre. That was not true peace, atleast not the world we live in. And if somebody who knows how to live then they must sacrifice themselves like Itachi did so: Obito doesn't want that to happen to anyone ever again.

Dude you couldn't be more wrong. True world peace wasnt Naruto's original aim, but it did once he realized how messed up the system was. Which is why he wants to change it. He wants to change it, not keep it as it is.
