I completely agree with this thread

Naruto doesn't want peace that has never been his goal
Bring sasuke back become hokage protect his friends are his goals
He is naive and doesn't see the bad caused by the shinobi system even tho he has witnessed & felt the pain it brought

Wanting to protect a system of killing revenge thievery & atrocities can easily bed viewed as bad or evil

Protectingpeople from people or eliminating the concept of winners & losers should be viewed as good but most people have favoritism & take the star of the mangas side

Selfishness leads to your true self /ideals
meaning its necessary for the human or the beast
Procreation is very selfish but it also better for the the world as a whole more life more food more development

Stop picking sides just enjoy what u have

Have you even read the manga, Naruto has been talking about peace ever sense the Invasion of Pain. He is the child of prophecy, savior of the world.

The whole reason the 9 tails was sealed inside Naruto was so he could stop Obito and bring peace.

I love it how people are bringing Universe into this, when the Universe has no concept of good and evil only opposing energies or abstractions in regards to abstract philosophy and Earth is nothing but a tiny speck in the cosmos. What a redundant argument.

I agree. All characters are selfish in regards to their goals as they want to achieve what they desire. If a group aligns with this, then it doesn't make the deed any less selfish.

doesnt it widely involve the concepts of right and wrong as well? i mean generally right and wrong not what could be seen as right or wrong through an individuals perspective.

we generally accept that murder is wrong, and therefore murderers are evil.
people who give to charity are generally accepted as doing the right thing, they are commonly seen as good people.

You are partially right, Immortal Itachi except that Obito CAN be taken as a good guy from someone's point of view since he earnestly wants to save the world as stated in my . Madara in the other hand is an undeniable villain no matter from who's perspective you see things in.

We can start with the fact he took over the Mist Village and turned it into the Bloody Mist when he became "Mizukage". His version of the graduation exams made the students kill each other until only one of them lived a la manga. This served no purpose but to relive Madara's "good ol days" when children would be mercilessly slaughtered in battle. This led to Zabuza trying to overthrow the "Mizukage".

After that, Madara almost undoubtedly has a hand in Rin's death since the Anbu who attacked Kakashi were of the Bloody Mist which was by then led by Madara. He wanted to mess up Obito's life to make him see things his way.

The black material sprouting from the Heretical Demon Statue is also his will, which crippled Nagato for life to use him as his puppet.

All these things, especially his sadistic treatment of the Village Hidden in the Mist shows he's a bastard who likes causing pain to others.
