Fuuton or also Wind Release is 1 of the 5 basic elements. Wind users, can create various things with wind - from small wind gusts to huge wind blasts. Wind is obviously an offensive element - the only ways that we can use it as defense is by shoting us in the air or some wind walls. I believe Wind is the most rare element in the Ninja World (I think kakashi said that or Asuma) Wind is strong against lightning as wind is a very bad conductor of electricity and wind is weak against fire, as fire needs air or wind to power itself up. Wind can be useful in many ways - we can use it to shot ourself away from incoming attacks, we can create a large-scaled 360 degree attacks and all kinds of blasts but I believe that the most useful wind techniques are the one that cut. As we know, Wind tends to have a cutting edge, able to cut and slice through things when necessary.

*I put the leaf in between my hands and try to concentrate my wind chakra in it. I concentrate on making the chakra as sharp and as thin as possible, allowing me to cut through the leaf. I imagine how the leaf is being cut in half while constantly adding wind chakra and making it sharper and sharper.*
