Gone Girl was much better than I expected

I was told a while back it was worth seeing. I was told it had a decent plot about a disappearance. I guess when I heard the name I instantly thought of 'chick flick'. Either way, I never gave it a chance until now and I gotta say it was quite worth watching.

I mean its a very adult movie, so I wouldn't recommend it to teens, but it hits a huge level of emotions that just wasn't expected. Its very smart and clever and keeps you on your toes constantly. Its dark, violent and downright scary at times, but never strays from keeping your eyes glued to it. It shows the progression of public opinions grow from a seedling into a murderous rage. It provokes thoughts and feelings that are just frightening.

Its, without a doubt, the most unexpected gem of a movie I've seen in a while, simply because I didn't know what I was in for. Again, its quite adult so I wouldn't recommend it to younglings, but if you want a bit of a thrill with mystery, anger, fear and unpredictability, watch Gone Girl.

Yeah it really is a great movie and it leaves you wondering about what will happen to certain characters after the end of the movie

Yeah it was one of those movies that made me hate a certain character. Extremely entertaining

Awesome movie, but the book is even better. I read the book and saw the movie, even though I'm a teenager, but I still enjoyed it very much.
