what are your Opinions about Gold digger girls??...

-why exactly Gold digger GIRLS...but not Gold digger Men????

aren't Men exaggerating in blaming Girls and calling them Gold diggers???..i mean isn't it in the nature of girls to love appearances and looks while men dont care about these things so much?....also dont we all love money without exeptions?

what do you think about Gold digger pranks on youtube?? :

i think most of them are full of lies and don't really represents a girl's true mentality...for exemple a man lures a girl with Buggati.. , then shows her a cheap car...then the girl ignores him and walks away....

-these kind of pranks aren't necessary Gold digging... but could be interpreted differently : maybe the girl felt afraid ... or that she doesn't like jokes...or something like that..

I don't mind them if they're straight up about it.

It's the sneaky ones I don't like.

Good thread. I think its a common stereotype, but then again its good to remember that not every woman is like that. There are some woman who do not give any shits about how rich a guy is, especially if they are earning loads themselves. :yeah:

Their was another video like that where this guy went around in his Ferrari and not a single girl wanted to get in and ride with him. It all depends on locations.

The ones that work are the uptight ones without a man to support them, the rest are nothing but leeches.

Men certainly care about appearances more than women do, or at least we make it a more obvious part of our mentality. Certainly women care about appearance too, but they surely care about the money their spouse makes more than an average man does. Many women would gladly take money over looks, but its dependent on what stage of their life they are in.

If its a really young woman who works and is planning for a family, they are going to look for a combination of the two (looks and money) when picking a spouse. If its a divorcee of 35+, they are more likely to settle for money over looks for multiple reasons. First, they may have been used to being a housewife and not fending for themselves. They might want someone who can immediately take care of her and her possible children. Especially if she didn't win the house in the divorce, she's more likely to want to quickly move in with another man.

Its all dependent on the individual and their current situation. The younger the women and the more self reliant she is or has been, the more likely she will go for looks over money. The less time the women has spent being self sufficient, the more likely she will look for money over looks when beginning a new relationship.

-why exactly Gold digger GIRLS ...but not Gold digger Men????

This is actually somewhat interesting.

Typically speaking, it is older men who have accumulated wealth and influence throughout their career. While there are some younger men who fit the bill, the mechanic is still the same. Women are typically influential in terms of *** appeal while young. Obviously, young women are attracted to the wealth and influence of an older man - and bonus points if he is physically charming and still has a youthful appearance, himself.

Of course - not all women who are in such relationships are 'gold diggers.'

This is harder to pull off in reverse, though it does happen. Within certain circles, they are referred to as "cougars." An older woman, usually who has lost an older husband or otherwise, will end up with a much younger man. She is older, doesn't need money or influence, and can simply enjoy the relationship of a young, physically attractive man.

Generally, though, an older woman has children. This makes 'gold digging' difficult, as most of the inheritance is likely to go to the children specifically stated in a will or trust fund.

On the other hand, a man who is older who has any kind of money has often been single throughout much of his life. He has no children with another woman and no one else to gift inheritance to aside from siblings, family, or friends.

aren't Men exaggerating in blaming Girls and calling them Gold diggers???..i mean isn't it in the nature of girls to love appearances and looks while men dont care about these things so much?....also dont we all love money without exeptions?

Generally speaking, most people like to inflate the value of their wealth in their head several times over. This leads to the skewed perception that a girl was after money or resources that the guy never really had except in his fantasies.

I think the cases of 'true gold diggers' who are out for the money and nothing else are relatively rare. It is just an easy explanation to come up with when a relationship goes sour or when an immature girl simply has a fixation with gifts or things that cost money.

what do you think about Gold digger pranks on youtube??

... The what? I'll have to look that up, later, so I know what you're talking about.

i think most of them are full of lies and don't really represents a girl's true mentality...for exemple a man lures a girl with Buggati.. , then shows her a cheap car...then the girl ignores him and walks away....

I've seen that mentality at play before. It is especially more common along the west coast of America where fashion and appearances in the cities are high status symbols.

I don't think it is really an expression of gold digging, even though it is what many people in the rest of the country would consider shallow.

In those areas, and especially among younger women (as in barely out of being a teenager), their appearance reflects both their status and what someone else thinks of them. For example - giving someone a shirt is showing them what you think they are worth via the status conveyed by the shirt. Calling a limousine service for them is showing them that you think they are worth a limousine.

Showing up in a cheap car is showing them that you think they are worth a cheap car.

It's not so much that they are after riches, so much as they believe they are worth the types of displays their friends are seeing. It's a sort of culture where people rent cars for dates and other such things simply because they don't want to be the only guy/girl showing up in a sub-compact while everyone else is driving around in something fancy that a car person would know about (I'm not a car person).

Within the perspective of someone from the midwest - that is the behavior of a gold-digger.

Within the perspective of someone in that culture - that is just a guy who didn't understand the game.

So that might be part of it, as well.

Of course - I'm only forming my analysis off of that small bit of information you gave.

There is that, too.

Within the midwest, it would be rude to pick someone up to bring them to dinner, then insist they need to take a taxi to get home. While it's not entirely the same parallel, people from lifestyles in cities and other places are often much quicker paced and border on managed chaos, many times. It's much more common for people to take a ride one place and have absolutely no expectation of that same person giving them a ride home or elsewhere. That person ends up having to leave early, or dashing off with another group of friends, or whatever. That is an accepted part of the culture.

You do that to someone who isn't part of that culture, particularly when visiting the city - and they are blindsided by something that is seen as rude, inconsiderate, etc.

My brother visited New York City a couple months ago.

"Everyone is so rude, and I was seriously about to punch some people. And then there were just these girls in the middle of Times Square who were naked... kids running around..."

Even the most crazy of cities in the midwest don't compare.

Missouri in the United States. Only place on the continent you can get mountains, plains, marsh, tornadoes, and earthquakes. Only things we don't have are avalanches and hurricanes...

Actually, I take hurricanes back. Last month was insane. It rained so hard that one of the towns I used to live in had a roadway literally flood and turn into a river - stranding cars and even washing some away. My apartment was almost flooded by runoff from the parking lot above and behind my complex - it simply started running through the breezeway in the middle about an inch deep or so.

If that keeps up, we're going to need stilts around here.

Well, I was in the UAE for a time.

My thread was actually a play on words. Ied al Fitr. The original spelling was eId al fitr. The thread was about an ISIS militant who used a truck loaded with a considerable amount of explosives and then went to sell discounted ice in a Shiite-dominated area of Iraq just north of Baghdad - then detonated after a bunch of people gathered around.

IED is an acronym for Improvised Explosive Device.

I'm actually more along the lines of a cynic when it comes to Islam. I believe it is a deceitful religion born of demonic influence. That isn't necessarily the case that every muslim is a demon - but that the system is selectively used to generate well-meaning followers who serve as a front for a militant agenda of conquest.

Islam's stated goal is, essentially, a socialist utopia. Since Muhammad was a merchant, there are even some fairly decent teachings in there regarding economics. For example - ISIS has started minting gold coins and the Gold Dinar of other Islamic nations. This is, frankly, wiser than the fiat currencies that are getting ready to implode. Anyway - there are numerous commands and laws that can be taught within a socialized platform meant to take care of the people within society and protect them from harm.

On the other hand, Muhammad was a warlord who stated it was his objective to, essentially, conquer the world and subjugate it to Islam. This is why there are commands to kill those who convert from Islam both in the Qu'ran and as narrated in the Hadith. Of course, these are generally not what is taught in western and modern societies - but it's still available to read and there are recruiters from militant organizations that search for people who are open to becoming mujahedin.

It can be surprisingly subtle in how it plays a hammer and anvil strategy. For example, a common sentiment I see is: "Muslims believe they are supposed to protect others from harm." This is specifically mentioned in the notion of protection against 'radicals.' Of course - non-muslims are not allowed to protect themselves from said 'radicals.' It establishes a double-standard where 'moderate' muslims are unwilling to invoke penalties upon 'radical' muslims while the 'radical' muslims have no problems declaring both kuffar and having a blast killing both.

Since differentiating between who is and isn't prone to spontaneous explosions is a little difficult until after they are wired to explode, I generally consider all muslims as being equally likely to spontaneously explode, lash out with knives, or otherwise inflict bodily harm upon those around them.

At least until I've observed a consistent pattern that suggests otherwise in the individual.

Which means exceptions are somewhat few and far between. They do exist, though.
