That will obviously be their main goal. Kin and Gin showed high levels of intelligence in their fight. And Asura can't absorb chakra, the giant animals get one shotted by Bashosen, the 2 headed dog isn't going to do anything to the brothers either. They can't kill him but he also can't hurt them or keep up with their speed in their v1 and 2 forms. Preta can't resurrect either, Naraka can. Naraka is a very easy target for the brothers.
Please forgive me, I had to make a few changes to my post because somethings were incorrect. I was a little confused about the names of certain paths and had to research them, but I stand by my debate. I'll have to rethink the part about their intelligence, you may be correct about that. I just saw them as generally idiots who got their hands on power. As for how
easy you thought it would be for them to defeat each path, your arguments are a little weak. The six paths of pain generally have a strong defense, simply because opponents can't use chakra based attacks to penetrate their defenses. This is do to Preta path's ability to absorb any form of chakra based attack, ( excluding genjutsu, which Gold and Silver show no current feats at ) which forces opponents to use taijutsu based attacks. This is a big no when it comes to the Six Paths of Pain, since the 6 of them are visually linked and can predict and counter any form of taijutsu based attacks attempted toward them. While i'm sure you mean well when you say Animal Paths summonings aren't much of a problem for Gold and Silver, I'd like to think that a few giant animals would work as a great distraction ( especially the two headed dog, who would attack relentlessly without defeat ) while the Pains try to subdue the two of them and take the nine tails chakra. Assuming Gold and Silver have their priorities straight, they would use their advantageous speed to bypass the animal summonings and strike the Pains directly. But again, Pain's defense is far more superior than anything they could perform. Next time, try considering the many advantages, including number and power, the Pain's have over Gold and Silver before deciding an answer and just sticking to it. I don't want to be a hypocrite, so i'm going to try arguing in Gold and Silver's favor.

Really? Deva got overpowered by a v2 Naruto. Two v2 Naruto's would completely demolish Deva. The rest of the paths are nothing, bar preta who can easily be defeated with a coordinated attack.
This only goes along with my equation above, because your chances of beating Deva Path using Kurama's chakra only depends on the mount of Kurama's chakra you have. Naruto + 2/4 Kurama vs Deva Path = Naruto Wins. Gold and Silver + 1/4 Kurama vs Six Paths of Pein = Six Paths of Pein Win. Deva Path would have had a chance of defeating Naruto in jinchuruuki mode, however Naruto is a full fledged junchuuruki and continued to become more and more powerful. Gold and Silver are only mock jinchuuruki's and don't possess Naruto's ability to continuously grow tails and keep a large stream of power coming. Lets use Percentage as another example.
Naruto (4 tails ) vs Deva Path: Naruto has a 50% of winning. Deva Path vs Naruto ( 4 tails ): Deva path takes the other 50% chance. Naruto (6 tails ) vs Deva Path: Naruto has a 50% of winning. Deva Path vs Naruto ( 6 tails ): Deva path takes the other 50% chance of winning. Naruto (8 tails ) vs Deva Path: Naruto has a 90% of winning. Deva Path vs Naruto ( 6 tails ): Deva takes the other 10% chance of winning. Gold and Silver (1/4 of Kurama's chakra, 4 tails) vs Deva Path: G and S has a 25% chance of winning. Deva Path vs Gold and Silver (1/4 of Kurama's chakra, 4 tails): Deva path has a 75% chance of winning. I think i'll call this Naruology: The study of Naruto; Algebra and Statistics.
