Why do you think Akira introduced Multiverse concept with super powerful protector of the realm characters ? What would happen when the Anime is revived. Yeah, high omnipotent creatures are coming, maybe out of Toriyama's @rse or other universes, but they are.. The story is going to be the same as always, an even more powerful opponent , so beef Goku even more. You decide where this is heading :bdpf:

We're discussing feats, bills has some form of matter manipulation as from what we saw when he turned an egg into dust by simply touching it, by your logic, his ability to matter manipulate is infinite now, and he can turn planets into dust, logically it is not, unless he demonstrates such a feat, otherwise it would be merely assuming.
Prime one million superman is actually a literal god (he formed his own universe), unlike title based gods like god goku and bills. Superboy prime survived a universal level attack and could destroy planets by simply flying past them

Power levels never became irrelevant as fights are determined by who posseses more power, scouter power readings became irrelevant because people couldn't tell if someone was holding Back
I actually wouldn't mind if DBZ actually could match Superman, but they have a long way to go before that happens. What you are hoping for is Goku to beat one of Superman's weakest forms. The form that beat Goku in the Death Battle was Post Crisis Superman. Basically any form higher, aka, pre crisis, superman prime, superman prime one million, cosmic armor superman, sword of superman, etc. Then of course the cartoon version are so damn weak they aren't even a match for Goku. The only one that is even remotely close to DBZ level without being so broken is Post Crisis.
The older versions of Superman were just so powerful, they had to make him weaker just so he could be believable.
When a character can make you not exist by just thinking about it, its like why even have a fight when you can just think them away. Even Shenron couldn't even do that. I doubt anyone in DBZ will have that kind of power even with the new movies and anime.
