Personality: Goku is known for his cheerful, energetic personality and his love of competition (specifically sport fighting and eating). He has remarkable intuition at seeing the good in others in spite of their actions, though his capacity for forgiving his enemies has occasionally been criticized as excessive; Goku, for the most part, only fights to win, and spares his enemies after defeating them only for them to attack him when his back is turned.[20] His staggering power is simultaneously reined in and enhanced by his fierce loyalty and morality. He has a simple, practical view of the world and is somewhat naive to the world around him. Because of this, many characters incorrectly assume him to be somewhat stupid, although once he has a basic understanding of things, he learns very quickly. His most remarkable ability is his will to succeed, pushing himself beyond his limitations, and never giving up even when the odds are stacked against him.

Background Info.
History: Goku was born to 2 Kumo nins, in the middle of the 3rd ninja war. His parents later died in the war, and Goku became an orphan. Goku then began travelling, searching for food to fill his immense stomach. He then wandered to Konoha, where he was well fed, and became under the wing of a certain man named Itachi. Itachi taught him earth, and Goku became acustomed to earth. then, Itachi enrolled him in the Ninja Acedamy, in which he quickly passed with flying colours. In his Genin squad, he was with his academy friends Dope, Nikkou, and Sherman. His squad leader was a nice and kind man named Tenzo. Tenzo brought them on missions, and when they had some time off, he would teach them elemental technquies. He helped Goku learn water and Wind, which turned out to be his natural affinity. Then, when Chunnin exam time came, he was able to barely pass, and was promoted to Chunnin. Then, after the exams, he saw Tenzo leaving the village. Thinking that it might be a mission, Goku followed him there. tenzo knew that Goku was following, but let him continue for a bit. Then, he stopped and told goku that he was leaving the village. Horrified, Goku said that he too was going to leave the village with him. tenzo denied, and sent him back to konoha. When he got back, he found that the 9 tails attacked the village, and that Dope had also left the village. Relucnatnly, he stayed in the village. During the time as a chunnin, he also learned fire with a person named POD.
Then when it was time for the Jounin promation, goku was selectd. Saddened by his lost teamates, he too decided to quietly leave the village. He then traveled to Kiri, where he is learning Lightning. As he was learning though, he was confronted by a mysterious Kumo nin. the kumo nin looked at him, and told him that he belonged to the Kiyoshi clan. He said that his name was ROku, and that he was the head of the clan. He agreed to teach him their clan moves.
