i have been rewatching dbz and i have to say i am really hating the guy now, i useed to have alot of respect for him, but now he is just a ****.

Trunks announced androids will come and kill people, and cells does and he starts killing tens of thousands of peope, 'thats ok, they are just fodder, i just want to be stronger"

can easily kill maijin buu with ssj3, 'naa, let him kill thousands more people their lives are insignifacant anyway, i will let my son handle it"

this isn't a hero people, this is a cruel being, someone who has the power to stop alot of deaths but doesn't becuase, 'my pride is to much, and i can become stronger'

he is still a anti-hoer becuase at the end he does end up saving the earth, but still, he is reaaaaallllly a ****.

i mean who allows for hundreds of thousands of people if not billions to die for you just to power-up, he would litterally have let the entire world die under the androids if plot was not on his side.

a hero isn't like that.

a hero would've locked vegeta away, would've fought freiza, would've vanquished the doctor, defeated majiin buu, not let them all live to kill millions of people.

i know Goku is a childhood favorite, but i doubt that is becuase of who he is, everyone just seems to like him for his power not who he is.

No it didn't he could have definitely killed Buu during that battle he even said he didn't because he wanted the new generation (Goten and Trunks) to do so, I wouldn't call him an anti hero but he definitely made some retarded decisions.

Goku made bad decisions but he was definitely a hero. He wanted his friends and family to be able to defend themselves during the Buu Saga. He felt like a dead man had no right to be doing what he was doing and wanted the next generation to handle their own problems. Also, would an anti-hero waste time to get the Dragonballs to revive people if all he cared about was his pride?
