yeah i've fotgot supreme kai (kibitoshin) instant transmisiion exceed Goku, Supreme kai IT >>> Goku IT >> Tobi Kamui Transmisiion > Minato FTG.

FTG. IT requires concentration and you need to be able to sense a life energy there from another creature to teleport there. FTG, while you're limited to going where you've been before, is more versatile.

Edit: Now that I think about, Instant Transmission may be better.

I assume you're comparing the usefulness of these techs in battle. Goku has not once been shown concentrating IT for battle, only for scouring the universe and crossing dimensions. These feats alone put FTG to shame. XD

Goku can travel anywhere on the planet, or near universe. He can travel to different dimensions, such as the other world. WHereas Minato and the FTG can only go where seals are.

Instant Transmission....besides base Gokus teleportation is waay above FTG. Goku wins in every category of teleportation imho.

Hold up...you say that FTG is instant you emphasize this, yet instant transmission isn't instant and it's called instant transmission? O_O Imho Goku doesn't even need IT to compete with Minato.

dont wanna debate or nothing like that but just letting you know when they said speed of light in to anime of DBZ for instant trans, it was a mis translation. in the manga they actually said instant. so both tech's are instantaneous (i Kno i spell bad but u get it)

Instant Transmissions wins.

It's true that Goku needs to locate a KI signal before he can teleport, but as the series progresses he learns to do it much, MUCH faster - even in Battle. Instant Transmission is also more handy - you don't need to get in close to place a seal, you don't need to throw and Kunai to use the technique and he can travel between dimensions with the technique. Until proven otherwise FTG only allows travel around the earth.

The thing is that Goku doesn't even need to use IT to "outspeed" Minato. He gets his head kicked off as soon as he flinches to throw a kunai. Via power-scaling Goku's speed without Instant Transmission is MUCH faster then the speed of light.

Actually that was an anime error. There was an interview where Toriyama said instant transmission was instant, not the speed of light. He also said power levels don't mean anything!

Goku does not need to feel the KI, he just needs to imagine the person. Minato needs the seal which is a hinderence.

Instant Transmission > FTG.

IT = travel

think about it. goku + ftg would be pretty hax. in dbz touching an opponent is quite easy and once he touches them, they're as good as gone.

Goku's instant transmission is definitely better: he can theoretically travel anywhere in the universe with it, doesn't need that much focus like the people above describe it as and the best part--->it's instantaneous..Toriyama even said so in an interview.

Minato's FTG although boss has limitations such as--> not instantaneous (travels at speed of light), can only travel to places with the mark and also requires focus to perform like instant transmission because it is a jutsu after all.

In a 1 vs 1 against your opponent, you're almost always sensing the person's power. There's no real need to "focus" on it like he's hundreds of miles away with Instant Transmission
