I don't see your point. The fact that he used his strongest technique TWICE to defeat them, it means it wasn't a stomp.

Garra and Onoki were exhausted and Mei had fought black Zetsu. Once Tsuande arrived she had to share her chakra w/ them, meaning she wasn't 100% afterwards.

The Gokage countered eveytjing thrown in their direction, while they weren't 100%. In this process Madara died twice.

As TheEvileOne points out, having to resort ro ones strongest attack twice says something, especially since they had to deal with the fact of being fatigued

Well they have more intel now. So I guess that is a window for a slightly different approach with showcasing diff jutsu maybe or just general help from the others they should be able to win.

I dont remember when they technically killed Madara.. can you show me scans? If you're referring to the scan where Tsunade punches through him that was a clone I think.
