(Hey guys. From here on the story shifts from Konan's point of view to Zenkutsu's point of view, just to clear that up)
Chapter 3: Bone forest
Madara told my father that he had to kill me. Though my mother convinced him to instead send me away so that one day I could return. The plan was not perfect as I had no idea of where to go. I could not even stay in Ame.
I walked through the forest. Unsure of what I would do. My mother gave me all the money she could spare and some rations. She hoped I could find another village to integrate into and she even taught me the paper transformation technique so I could hide better.
After awhile, I noticed something was off. The forest got realy dark and the covering was heavy. A sticky mist was in the area. I couldnt hear any animals which was rather odd. There were no birds, small animals or anything. Bugs didn't even buzz in my ears. It was all severely odd.
As I walked I began to daze off. Until I took a step and I heard a squeal. I jumped and looked down. At my feet was a white lump. I got closer and it turned out to be a slug.
"AAAAGHHH!!! DON"T EAT ME!!" The slug screamed as it squirmed away rather quickely. Confused and amayzed, I gave chase. As I chased, I was eventually stopped. Two large slugs, both far taller then I blocked my path. The smaller slug hid behind them. "That's it! That is the thing that was hunting me!"
The two big slugs investigated me. "This creature does not look so frightening. Are you sure? Wait a minute! This is a human. How did a human get here?" One of them said.
"Lady Sage said if any Humans came to the forrest then we had to take them to her," the other one said.
"Indeed. Human, come with us."
I was compelled to obey. Having nowhere else to go, I had to follow. We walked for awhile and eventually we reached a massive tree. The two slugs took me inside as it was hollowed out. Inside was a massive slug. Her body had many creases in it and her colloring was very grey. She seemed to be very old.
"Do you bring me a human?" she asked.
"Yes lady sage! We do not know how he got in though," the slug responded.
"Hm...boy, let me see your eyes," she commanded. Unsure, I slowely opened my eyes. "Intrieging. Do you know anything about chakra?"
"Yes ma'am"
"Do you know anything about Sage chakra?"
"No, never."
"Hm, then how about you remain here for awhile and I teach you about Senjutsu."
A door opened and she squirmed in. She told me to follow her. I followed her.
