I'm a Muslim too but I saw a video of his that said in the Qur'an (I'm gonna paraphrase him) "God introduces himself as the greatest, and then says all worship goes to him. This is different to slave masters because he introduced himself as the greatest". That makes no sense to me. So if a slave master says I am the greatest and then tells you to worship it is logical?

I believe the greatest will not punish you for all eternity for being misguided.

This video right here gave me so much doubts on Islam.
I could not understand the exact point where did you get confuesed but I can say somethings general. The classic slave-master relationship is that master makes the slave do whatever he wants. He can just torture him without any reason and this is what I imagine in general. However this master-slave relationship is somehow different.

There is a master who created the universe from nothing. Gave you a life, a world to live, food to eat, air to breath... and then for humans The master gives the choice of free will. It is free will whether or not he knows. If you just want to jump from the window most closed to you, you can just do it. However; there is also this point, If you can hold all the parameters, you can know the exact position of a star after 1 year for example. If you know the gravity, you can find the force you will apply due to your weight. Whatever, the point is because He describes himself as Alim-Allam(know every bit of things) he knows what your choice is gonna be and this does not affect you to choose exactly that.
So because the master is the greatest, after creating you and giving you the free will and the neccessary hardware and software, puts you into a test. The master also has angels which cant just oppose his will by creation so no tests on them however humans are created to be the master's caliph in earth so they are gonna be tested for their free wills and for the eternal life. So the master sends guidance, sends prophets, sends books and tells about himself and wants you to know your creator, your master. Be a slave to him.

The point is this, you on your own accept him to be your master and yourself to be a slave to him because of all his names and greatessness. All the information is given to humanity, you have the will to find the creator and to believe in something and then this comes. If you just accept to be a slave in this manner, you will be granted the infinite happiness and inner peace, also in this world. Otherwise, if you say all the books are lie, all the guides are liars, all the things are for nothing, no God... then you will have a punishment, and you will suffer from doubts here.
It is something like state-civilians. If you act according to laws, then you find peace and live happy. If not, then you lost peace. It means you are troublesome and distracting the order. If you kill someone, then you need to be punished. It is justice.

The topic is hard. There can be said more and more things but I want to add this one here;
Whatever someone proposes an argument about Islam or the God, there can be an argument about that to put the former into a doubt and vice versa. There can be found no absolute argument about this. It is a matter of faith and believing.

I also want to add this, after you chose to believe, you do wonder that what you believed in. So you need guidance and you need to do something for your creator because he gave you the life. You just want to find a way to thank him that he made you know himself and he gave value on you etc... I think this is the way a logical person will pursue after believing and this way directly leads itself to accepting yourself to be a slave to The Master.

Who benefits from this Master Slave Relationship?

Definitely not God.

And how does one know for certain that Islam is the religion we should choose? Before you accept this relationship, we must first accept it as the truth. What makes it so different or appealing?

Why will God punish us if we don't accept? I understand accepting teaches you humility but you are doomed for not accepting and many of us humans don't get things right the first time. I fail tests all the time, if everyone did this I'd be in hell long ago.

I will accept God that God will send me to hell for disobeying after I believe in him. He didn't leave us with that much. Islam says otherwise but how is this true?

lol, a muslim wouldn't try to question his allah's judgement on the world. all you would do is thank him for your health and safety. if you have doubts (depending where you live), you can always ask an imam about allah or islam
Imams just yell at people. And what about those who weren't introduced to Islam, have poor health and are not safe?

Yes, you are right only the slave gets benefits from this. This part is also strange. The benefits are knowing the existence, purpose, the prophets, the God itself, love for them and love from them, inner peace, order, humanity... You can add all the good things here if can figure out the point of view.

About choosing Islam or other religions. This part is when the free will and our default properties comes. There is nothing a human can do to another to believe in something like this, or specifically Islam. It is the person itself who can find the answer. The first thing to believe is the God and all the prophets. Then, if you believe in those two, you automatically believe in the book Quran and then things come in chain. This is the last holy religion accepted by mass population and this accepts all the things came before Hz. Isa(Jesus), Hz. Musa, the Bible, the Torah...

This part, I can only answer from my perspective. Because he is the creator, he knows every bit of our creation. He put the thing into us to find him and to be guided by him in this earth. The test is a life-time test and even if you find the answer on your last moments, then no problem you are, inshallah, forgiven for what you have done before you knew him. Because you didnot know him and now you accept, you are forgiven by the Merciful. Now there is this argument, if a man couldnot find the answer in his life, then he could not probably find it out if he had a life of 1000 years or more or indeed infinite, that's why the punishment is eternal(this one is a view probably I dont know its source.). Therefore not knowing and denying his existence is the biggest sin ever. You just ignore every creation and all the sense in you. You thank for someone who do a simple favor for you, but you deny your creator who made you from nothing. When you believe, this is like this and logical. But if you dont believe, it is hard to understand the biggest sin to be the denial.

the last question, I could not understand much.

I have to disagree. Knowing or not knowing whether Islam is right is all about upbringing. No more, no less.

This is Islam from my Understanding:

1. God creates us and everything.

2. God expects us to worship him even though he gives us free will.

3.The evidence he leaves us fades in time and is hard to accept as true. Not to mention the evidence is very questionable in terms of morality, almost contradictory, easily distorted, and promotes violence.

4. If you believe and worship you are accepted heaven and if not eternal hell.

It is referred to as a test yet is not given on fair grounds and everyone's fate is based on situation. This test does not seem like a test where you learn from and become a better person in anyway.

This test seems more or less comparable to the failure known as the education system. It fits some people while it doesn't fit others. You pass it and you become rich, you fail it you become poor. Some people are not even given a fair chance which is very similar to the education system.

I want to believe in Allah, I truly do. But I can't with what I understand now and nobody is able to give me proper answers.

Upbringing is important yes. It is high likely that you will be a believer if your parents raise you up with that kind of ideas but it gives you the responsibility, a heavy responsibility. Believing and worshipping are not the only things. The religion is all about your life. You said becoming a better person. This is the point where i stuck. Who is gonna identify being good? Me, others, the state, common sense? I cant accept any one of those because they are all creatures and couldnt reach the best. They dont have all the parameters, I must be guided by all-knowing-one. So the religion itself is indeed all about being a good person not just worshipping the God btw this also makes you better:)

The evidence fades but the justice still holds. The time after the last prophet, the time which is most closest to the doomsday is one of the hardest times for people. Therefore, we hope that from what we believe in, not just a hope but something more strong, we will gain more from the little things we have done and gonna get sin less from what we did so a balance will be done in some way. I just believe that Allah knows my and our positions and he will judge us with justice. People are not equal but a justice will take place amongst us.

Everyone has a fate but everyone has his own choices. You can just sleep now, or stand and start to run away:D There are guys like Nouman Ali Khan who knows a lot about prophet's sayings and Quran. There are so many different books written about all of these. As I said before, you do not have to find everything on your own but you need the right guides. If you are in an ocean, in a ship and lost your way, you need to find a compass. If you find a broken compass, you just get worse. If you find the right thing, for example if you can find a plane whit a full equipment, you can reach your destination in a very short amount of time.

You can just ignore all and make all the noises in your head silenced or try to find the right guide. The guide is the Quran and the last prophet from my point of view they are like the plane and the guys who know a lot about the stuff is like the pilot in this:)

So i hope you can find the satisfaction in your heart and mind about this. It is just accepting the God with all his names then the chain comes easily, believe me

hope you say this when you're in hell :p

let me ask you something what happens to your self when you die? i mean your thought process.
They're genuine questions purely out of curiosity. This is exactly why we have so many different religions in the world. Everyone is too afraid of going to hell to try and think logically. What makes you think you won't go to hell?

Your thought process either ends or your soul leaves your body to get "judged".
