Genjutsu are techniques used by ninjas to affect enemies' brain instead of body, it mess up their senses making them see, hear or feel things that are not real.
It is mostly used to create an opening for actual attack, though there are genjutsus that are powerfull enough to knock out opponent for a week (Tsukuyomi)

Nontheless, warm up abit. Make your chakra flow around in your body over and over in two minutes and we're good to go. (And by that I mean, make it flow faster than normal O_O)

That's how all Genjutsus works, and good job.
Try it out. O_O *Points at severaly trees around us that you can use them to coe from.*
This genjutsu creates eerie black ninja illusions, which appear one by one from trees and rocks, and corner the enemy. Their movements are slow, but when attacked they multiply, and in this way they appear like ghosts inhabiting the mist. Kunai are added to this technique, by throwing them to match illusions movement, making them seem real. As the clones continue to multiply, the victim will eventually be worn down.

*Again I insert my chakra into your brain, focus on it and start manipulating your brain with it so you will start to see black ninjas slowly coming out from trees you shown me before. I also create the ilusion that once you attack them, they will multiply. Now I throw a kunai next to your leg and make some illusions to do the same throwing motion so it will look like they thrown it.*

This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great.
And eventually make him/she pass out.
*Starting by releasing my chakra into your brain and making you see leaves circling around you blocking your view for a short time. Those leaves fall down and I draw out the picture that was hiden inside you, that you never wanted to see. After seeing this you will be shocked and collapse*

Now that you have learned doing so grue-some genjutsus, do you know how to escape those aswell? Please tell me whatever you know about escaping Genjutsu. o_o (No looky at wiki piki.)
Well either by inflicting pain to oneself by stabing oneself with kunai or bitting tongue etc, then it can be released by someone else forcing their chakra into the victim. Lower level genjutsu can also be release by "kai" ninja technique that is made to release genjutsu. It also can be released by burst of chakra that overpower the genjutsu- something like chidori nagashi that is unfocused.. also gathering naural energy as if entering sage mode will disrupt the gen. thats all I remember I guess ^^

1. Is to temporary stop your chakra flow whereafter letting go off it, making it flow through your body again, like a burst which will overwhelm the opponents chakra. This is called Kai, literally meaning Release, it's the most often used in the Narutoverse. Though people tend to make rules about not using it.
2. Is to transfer pain to yourself as you said yourself. For an instant, let's say you're are put under a genjutsu where... Mhm.. ants are pissing on your legs, lol. You would simply be needed in this sitaution to for an example, stab yourself, whereever you please, lol. Or bite your tonuge(Spelled),though it would be riduclious idiotic as you would die of blood loss then.
3. Is to send bursts of chakra through your body, kinda like the first example(Look above.), the burst would make disruption in your chakra network causing the opponent's chakra to get blown out nd stuff. A Jutsu that can do that is like, Nagashi where you release an electric current throughout your entire body, thus creating disruption and thereby breaking you out of genjutsus.
4. Clones, or allies; Fightning a Genjutsu user it would be most likely smart to have clones or allies within you, where you keep an eye on each and another, being put under a genjutsu can often cause you to not follow up on your movements and thereby your clones nd allies would be alerted. In such sitaution you would be needed to make them transfer chakra into your body by placing their palms on you. Their chakra will go through your chakra network and send the opponent's chakra out of your body.
5. The Sharigan, it's pretty self explantorary, and I'm getting tired of writing this wall of text, so you can catch me via VM later asking if it.

As it's stopped you will be needed to let go of your control of the chakra making it rush out in a burst causing the opponents chakra to get pushed out in the burst. <_< So tell me when ya ready.
